I'm going with the first.

And he got bit back hard. With all the top FA OT's gone Monroe has zero leverage.

I believe Albert wanted to come to Miami since last year. Im just spiff-balling but I dont think we were targeting any tackle before Albert. Why fight an agent and a team waisting time trying to woo a player when you have a good one wanting to come on board rather than play 2 teams against each other?

We'll see how it works out. I was never concerned about the contract details as Aponte has usually worked out team friendly deals. Now the Mike Wallace balloon payment next year may be one of the few exceptions

the media was talking a MASSIVE deal and this deal, if correct, is not MASSIVE, like insane massive as ireland would have done.

this deal is right in there for veteran, starting lt's.

It is also great to move on from Martin with a move that is clearly performance based and not something else. Too bad we did not sign this guy last year.

wow Oakland just gave Rodger Saffold five-year, $42.5 million deal! Makes the five-year, $46 million to Brendan Albert that much better. nice going Hickey.
