Former Georgia Tech CB Rod Sweeting was signed to the practice squad and LB Terrell Manning was waived. Sweeting is 5'11" 189 and ran a 4.38 in the 40 at the combine in 2013.

Taylor just ain't gettin' it done as an NFL CB.
Gotta kick the tires in case Davis, Grimes or Finnegan goes down.
And can he play special teams? Cause Miami's special team coverage and kick/punt returns are hurting big time. Don Jones is being radically missed. Never seen slower "gunners" in all my life.

We could use a few guys who are "football players" too like how Moreno showed some fight, it rubbed off on others. Being fast sure doesn't hurt
Sweeting is a size/speed guy who will hit. But he's got poor instincts and mediocre transition skills for a corner. He's also not a great form tackler. More of a hitter. I don't know how much special teams experience he has but he does fit the profile.
