Dolphins sign DE Jonathan Woodard and CB David Rivers to p-squad

On Tuesday the Dolphins filled their 2 practice squad openings by signing DE Jonathan Woodard and CB David Rivers. Woodard was a 7th round pick of the Jaguars in 2016 and played collegiately at Central Arkansas. Woodard is 6'5" 287. Did 28 reps of 225 pounds, had a 34 inch vertical jump and ran in the 4.8's in the 40 during his pre draft workouts in 2016. Rivers is 6'1" 186 and is an undrafted rookie who played at Youngstown State. He ran a 4.53 in the 40, did 14 reps of 225. He had a good CB workout at his on campus pre draft workout for scouts.
