Dolphins sign DJ Jones to their Practice Squad?

Good be a solid developmental player. Smart kid also IIRC. Surprised he didnt even go UDFA? Or did he???

EDIT: This is the kid from Nebraska...right?
 
#65 i believe. Was watching tampa game other night and saw Jones on jersey and for like 30 minutes i was like who is this guy?

he actually played decent for what i could tell. good size. maybe he has some brute to him. maybe he is cornfed?
 
yeah undrafted. i remember the pickup the next day but its hard remembering those dudes when no offseason.
 
Well I would say OT and OL is a priority right now.

He is a native Cornhusker.

Jones was ranked as the top player in the state of Nebraska and among the top 20 offensive tackles in the country according to Rivals.com. Jones was also named a SuperPrep All-American and was among the top 10 players in the Midlands Region according to the publication. Jones chose Nebraska over Iowa State, Kansas and Houston.

The team may have told him that they plan to sign him to the practice squad if he clears waivers, but we can't begin to fill the p-squad until tomorrow.

Does it become first come first serve?
I know that there are different salaries for different PS players. Guess if your REALLY interested, you pay them enough to come play PS for awhile???
 
oh and i live in a lake house (sometimes in the summer)down from the river, with a van in the driveway!
 
CB Vince Agnew will also be on the practice squad according to his twitter. He stopped at IHOP and was on his way to Dolphins practice this morning.
