Dolphins sign Guard Dimitri Tsoumpas

I like what Miami is doing. Wake is def. a diamond in the rough of the CFL.

Tsoumpas is 6'4" 315, bench pressed 225 pounds 30 times at his pro day before the 2008 draft. He played collegiately at Weber State with J.D. Folsom

30 times? Damn.

I like how the FO is not only turning over every rock, but apparently seeking out the opinions of our own guys about people they know or have played with. Even with 80 guys coming to camp, it minimizes the risk that you are bringing some of the wrong people.

30 times? Damn.

If there is one thing I trust about Sparano it's his ability to find and coach up O-line talent.

out of all the practice squad players we have signed so far, i think this guy might have the best shot at making the team.

Honestly, I didn't even know the CFL had a draft.

The CFL draft is for "non-imports" only, meaning Canadian born players playing in the CIS or NCAA only.

Americans that end up playing in the CFL are considered "imports", and are acquired by CFL teams basically whichever team signs them first(there is no "import" draft).

CFL teams must have 20 non-imports, 21 imports, and 3 import QBs on their game day roster.

Lumbala, and Grice-Mullen who you just recently signed were mediocre talent at best in the CFL. Tsoumpas is the real deal though. Definitely a top 5 o-lineman in the league and he is very young still. I have a feeling he will stick with you guys.
