Not sure if it was reoprted or not

The Miami Dolphins could have a distinctive CFL flavour next season.
With former B.C. Lions Rolly Lumbala and Ryan Grice-Mullen already under contract, the Dolphins signed Canadian offensive lineman Dimitri Tsoumpas of the Calgary Stampeders on Saturday.
Tsoumpas was selected by the Stampeders second overall in the 2008 Canadian College Draft. The 6'4", 305 lbs. product of Weber State stepped in and became an anchor on the Stampeders' offensive

Hey Rev, have you followed him up there? Any news on his play?

In the words of one reporter here in Calgary - he is the hardest working player on the team and does all the little things right..., he hits the weights after every game and has had his sights on the NFL since he played in the NCAA..., I think he is stout and at about 305-310 he is set as an interior lineman I think somewhat overlooked because he is a Canadian born player..., these CDNs compile tape of themselves in the CFL and get tryouts in the NFL... the CDNS aren't taking over the league but people would be surprised the no. of CDN born players who went diretly fro the NCAA to the NFL and never looked back..

I'll add what the reporter said..., that of the three recent signings from the CFL two from BC he thinks this guy Tsoumpas would be most likely of the three to stick... over Lumbaba and Grice Mullin - and i agree...

Dont forget about Wake...and yea I hope this guy works out.

I love that the FO is scouting the CFL. Bill Polian has been doing it for years. Previous Dolphin administrations were so static with talent search. This is certainly a big plus for this administration.

Oh alright, well i dont know much about Lumbala, but I heard that Grice-Mullin is a faster Bess. If thats true it would be great and he will make the roster no problem considering how much bess contributes.

Grice Mullin didn't light in up in the CFL and the CDN field being considerably wider..., rules slanted entirely to the offensive side of the ball all indicate that Grice Mullin is training camp fodder...

Lumbala was a special teams ace in the CFL he had dew carries under a 2 yards per carry average..., he is what he is a wedge breaker at 240 6'2 (doing this from poor memory) don't expect much from these two - Tsoumpas can handle the CFL linemen with relative ease but the NFL and the DTand NTs...?

Of note: John Chick DT of the SK Roughriders signed a three year deal with Indy - here again as a D linemen he could be used situationally like Wake...

CFLers who make the NFL play situationally but make gobs more money and they play in the show

The CDN born place-kicker for Calgary will be signed to an NFL club and will not be back - his leg is lightning in a bottle - name is Sandro Deangelis (sp?)

Polian plucked Chick - Chick I believe an American doesn't have the intangibles of Wake..., Wake did stuff never seen in the CFL...

Without NFL Europe the CFL has a better selection of players to choose from..., and the CFL is well anti-quainted with losing talant to the NFL...

I enjoy seeing the way you spell flavour Rev.......i'm marrying a canadian soon!

The Tsoumpas guy comes with strong credentials. Wow this coach of ours will not rest until we have a cohesive dominant unit and i like it very much.

As long as I always have your favour we are good...

I think going after these CFL guys is a brilliant move and not just because Wake looked promising last year but because these guys are very hungry and will bust their butts to stay now that they are being given a shot. I'm not suggesting you want to go overboard but it's always good to have a handful of guys in camp that are really hungry. They will push to guys already here to keep working for there jobs and who knows maybe one will stick.
