The Miami Dolphins just signed my client Chris Martin (T/G, @UCF) to a 1-year deal this afternoon. Was w/Patriots, Texans, & 49ers last yr.

Martin, a rookie out of Central Florida, signed with the team going undrafted and spending time with the Houston Texans. He had been injured for the entirety of the Patriots offseason practices and preseason.

If Martin is still injured, he could possibly be waived with an injury designation and converted to injured reserve. At 6-5 and 305 pounds, he projected to play tackle for the team. He also played tight end in college.

The San Francisco 49ers have just released T/G Chris Martin who finished last season on their practice squad. Too many similar guys there.

Well thats about the take I see lol. The good is he was able to get picked up by three teams, the bad everyone of those teams cut him.
Im sure he will get some valuable experience getting cut here also.
 
I read 'Dolphin's sign OL' and got happy. But then, this went from 'BOOOOOM' to 'BOOOOO' rather quickly.
 
I wanted to see the panic if the headline read "Dolphins sign former 49ers tackle Martin"
