Dolphins sign OLB Duke Riley

camp body. Special team player at best. If we see him in regular rotation, that means our regulars are either hurt or not that good.

Beside Fuller, so far no one is impactful.

Unless we draft someone, Riley is now Baker's direct back up. It's a good signing.
Glad he's getting some love. You know, depth behind starters is so important. People aren't "wowed" by Bobby McCain but if you watch that game against the Chiefs and see what happened immediately after he came out of the game twice...you see value in guys that can fill in snaps without being complete liabilities.

You all are sleeping on Malcom Brown.

Just wait and see.

hmmm, I'd throw Adam Butler in there as well as he's a very good player. You can get impact from players that are not level 1 starters. Filling out a roster of solid players is really important.

Yeah, that was the other name I was going to include when I referenced Adam Butler in my other post. I watched Brown play quite a bit last year and was impressed for sure with his overall game. Alf has a good cut up of some of his tape in chalktalk too.

Too early to call him "impactful" but I'm real curious about Robert Foster and what happened to him. That last half of 2018 he had was phenomenal. I'll be interested to hear camp reports on him. Sometimes you uncover a gem, much like the Raiders signing Waller off of Baltimore's practice squad. You just never know.

that’s what bill parcells was always so good at; filling out your roster from 12 to 53 which is why his teams had such an immediate turn around because of the depth and serviceable players beyond a handful of superstars.

Butler is an interesting find. I come to trust Flo in finding values in defensive side of the ball.
Especially players from NE...lol
