The Dolphins beat out the Browns, the Raiders and the Jets to get the services of versatile defensive back Renaldo Hill.
Hill agreed to a three-year, $6 million contract with the Dolphins that included a $2 million signing bonus. For Hill, the Dolphins signing allows him to be reunited with Nick Saban, who recruited him out of high school to go Michigan State. He started for three years for Saban at Michigan State. Hill plays cornerback and safety, and he is probably going to help the Dolphins at the safety position. The Raiders used him as a cornerback-safety last year and at time, they used him as a linebacker in a 'Big Nickel' defense. He ended up with 89 tackles.

Didn't see it posted.

Didn't he play for the Cardinals 2 years back..?

Hmm..Good signing tho..He's young & brings alot of speed & toughness to the table..

Two thumbs up on Nick for this acquisiton!:D

Yes you did!!! Congrats!!!

I think he will help our defense tremendously. He is still relatively young, and knows Saban type of defense. Good pick up!

What position do u think he will play? Clayton seems to think safety. Does this rule out Tank?

I wonder how he will work out. The funny thing is his original knock coming into the league was he was not big enough or physical enough to play with big WRs. But now they are using him as a linebacker CB nickle guy.

You broke the news!!! Great work and a nice pickup in an area of need. If we broke the bank on Brees I doubt we'd have been able to do this. Super job by Nick. Is he all business or what?

good signing, he's a player I didn't know much about but he's a solid player. good depth
