Fields has played in all 16 games in four seasons and has one career sack. He originally was a fifth round selection (137th overall) by the Francisco 49ers in the 2005 NFL Draft.

Wait so the broncos are in desperate need of defensive lineman and we pick one up from them? Man wtf no orton ? We really must like Reggie bush

More d-lineman? Miami has good depth as it is on the dline.

getting DT depth so they can trade starks in the orton deal?

He's a nose tackle so more than likely is experienced insurance for Soliai.

It is real funny watching you guys debate on a guy who started 16 games with the Broncos under Mike Nolan in 2009, when Denver had the 7th ranked defense in the league. If Mike Nolan wants him, we need to go get him . . . and we did. Stop bitching, there is nothing wrong with getting some NT depth on this team.

Good point. Nolan had him in San Fran as well.

why add depth to the deepest unit unless you are moving a guy soon
