Dolphins sign Ticats WR/KR Marcus Thigpen

Why the **** did we pick up Tyler Thigpen's brother? This FO is just typical.
 
Marcus Thigpen had 8 touhdown returns in one year setting a record in the CFL

Why wouldn't I be serious? This is a classic move by the FO by bringing in retreads that didn't make it on another team. Plus the fact that he was an Ex-Dolphin's brother, and you know something is up.
 
Unless one of them is adopted, I doubt they're brothers... Come on maaaaannn!
 
He isn't related to Tyler Thigpen. But I do believe he is related to former baseball player Bobby Thigpen.

If you'd take 5 seconds to see what the thread was about, you would have noticed that he's black and more than likely NOT related to Tyler Thigpen in any way.

I dont get why people think that doing kick returns would inhibit his ability to play another position. Most good players can do that. He is raw period , its not the returns hindering any development
 
He runs so smooth...like Eric Dickerson....and Marcus Dupree. Great speed. Hope he earns a spot on next year's roster.
 
I'm a season ticket holder here in Hamilton where he played and if he can do half the stuff he did up here we'll have Devin Hester type player returning kicks for us
 
Gotta say, I'm not nearly as sold on this CFL signing. Maybe I haven't seen enough of Thigpen, but while he was fast and had great vision, in the NFL you need "make guys miss" hips, and I didn't see enough of that in him, even when he was busting the long ones. In that phone booth they call an NFL field, you have to be able to juke three or four guys before you can even get a sniff of open field (at least on punts). I dunno, maybe he'll be better than I think...
