Tristan Davis is a return specialist and running back who was an undrafted free agent from Auburn. He measured 5'9 3/8" and weighed 212 pounds at his pro day workout. He also ran a 4.43 in the 40.

Another Auburn runner Ronnie and him should get along plus he plays on both sides of the ball (safety) sounds like he might be a really solid special teams player. Sparano loves these guys that can contribute in more then one spot.

Or they are preparing to make Ginn Inactive. Wouldnt make any sense though because you need some type of deep threat, but who is going to be scarred of him going deep if he doesnt catch it?

I live in Alabama so I am somewhat familiar w/Davis and I liked him alot at Auburn. The problem was that there was they had a crowded backfield last year w/Ben Tate and Mario Fannon plus they switched to the spread offense last year so that hurt him but he is a burner and I am thrilled with this pick up.

He is signed to the practice squad not the regular roster, so he is not replacing anyone. He filled the spot that was vacated when Folsom was moved to the 53 man roster

Well anytime you can add a guy with 4.3-4.4 speed to your team I think you have to look at it as a plus.
