According to the Dolphins Offical Website, the Dolphins have signed John Dunlap, an UDFA receiver who played collegiately at North Carolina State. Dunlap is listed as being 6'1" 218 pounds. He ran a 4.46 in the 40 at the scouting combine. He must've made a bit of an impression on the Dolphins staff as a tryout guy. If anything he adds another receiver who has size and speed

IMO if he makes this team it will be to the practice squad. I think Miami will focus on WR and CB when teams start making their roster cuts. I have no doubt we'll see much better WR's available at that time, then Dunlap. This signing is nothing more then a ploy to make people feel uncomfortable, to try to squeeze just a little more effort out of the WR position for now.

Couldn't agree more. Im still hoping Bess makes the team, but we defetnetly need to upgrade at the WR position.

I really like these young WR's BP has brought in and hopefully Hagan can get the message to start catching some balls

I agree, this move is to fill an empty roster spot and to basically give the veterans some rest in TC and preseason.

I also agree that Miami will likely look to add a WR when teams start making their roster cut downs after the final preseason game. The nice thing about that is that Miami will have the ability to pluck the best available WR off the waiver wire.

Coming in last does have it's benefits...though I don't want to make a habit of the practice
