Dolphins solidify TE position in 24 hours

i really like rosario and was just telling people i wished we would go after him.... he is the te in all the moore highlight videos.... we was hell of a redzone threat with moore and delhomme in carolina..... really like this move by no means a stud te but def will be better then what he had going for us

I was expecting us to wait still the final cuts to find someone and I'm happy with the choices. We have a big mauling run blocker and a faster pass threat then A Fasano.

And IMO, Fasano had a very good preseason and is ready to make plays. In our new offense he will not just asked to pass block. However, if our OL has protection problems I can see him pass blocking more and more like last season.

Our FO rolled the dice here and this time it seems like we did all right. Yeatman is the bigger blocking TE we want plus he can catch the ball. Rosario is not near the blocker that Fasano is but he is faster. Not better overall but faster. And he can get open and catch the ball.

This is like our WR position in that now we have good reserves this season while having none last season. Last year we had Fasano and no one else.

This season if nothing else, our WRs and TEs will be more rested.

I like Rosario. I remember watching him with the Panthers, underrated pass catcher, not super fast but fast enough...he's faster than Fasano. I think he ran 4.76 at the combine in 2007. I would compare him to Donald Lee, a little bigger frame and slightly better hands than Lee.

It's an upgrade considering how poor we were at this position . . . but we still need to keep our eyes peeled for better upgrades.

Maybe these guys actually know what they're doing after all. (DUCK)

Can anyone honestly say they know how our TE will be used under Daboll? Let it play itself out first.

I really like the moves made for tightening up the TE position. It creates even more mismatches and hopefully a great safety blanket for Henne.

I'm not sure what the love for Yeatman is? I looked at his production during pre season and he had combined for about 5 catches for 40 yards in 4 games. What am I missing?

I don't know much about Yeatman. He seems like an athlete in the mold of Clay (no pun intended). Rosario looks like a great pickup. Kellen Winslow type of tight end.

So Ireland isnt such a douche? Is that what can be conlcuded here? lol

so it could be concluded that a football player is one who has great stats? lol

people just dont buy into potential and intagibles i guess.

I like the TEs we picked up, but if picking up 2 castoffs makes TE one of our strongest positions then the rest of our team has problems.

Alot of New Englands offense is predicated on having many players who can do the same thing in the offense. Thats why New England has 5 RB's. They all will do the same thing in the offense when their number is called. Its also how you can tell if someone is beating out someone else at their responsibilities vs. their own.

Fasano might be losing some PT down the line here. Or, we may run some two TE formations down the line as well once we show the world how spread out we are. Its actually what BB is doing now. Which is why stealing Yeatman and having Bills take the other guy was such a killer. BB had plans for those guys.

At the end of the day Rasario still got beat out by Virgil Green, the same guy everyone but the Wonder Duo wanted in Miami.
