Dolphins starting to string embarrassments together

The point of the article is that the Dolphins have put a string of embarrassing moments together, and I believe that is true. Most people wouldn't care if they were winning but the fact that the season is imploding only highlights how dysfunctional the organization seems to be.
In fact, you could take the same "embarrassing" moments and string them together on a winning team, and they would be perceived entirely differently. They likely wouldn't be "embarrassing" at all! :)

Its crazy that a few missed field goals or a crooked ref or 2 is the difference between being in great shape at 5-2 and the team being a complete and utter embarrassment from top to bottom at 3-4. It is what it is in the NFL though I guess.

So let me get this straight....A member of the media is finding a new way to complain about the team because they are not giving more information in interviews and press conferences....Shocking!

What do they mean starting?

If you had a QB named Cleo Lemon raise your hand.
A coach that didnt know how to use a red flag.
A rb that retired because of his drug use (love you ricky)
A qb that blew out his shoulder for the third time
Dancing wiht the stars addict
The star of the hit tv show My Wife stabbed me
The horror movie called The PAT WHITE PROJECT
Hve not beaten the PATS at home since the intro of the WiLDCAT
Lost Drew Brees to Daunte Crappepper
Is yo mamma a HO

I know. It is such a fine line. Punt the ball vs. Buffalo and you are at least 4-4 going into the 2nd half of the year.

3 Super Bowls and consistent winning vs. a 10-13 lifetime record. When you win you can do certain things.

But then again you wanted certifiably mediocre Jeff Fisher, who was kicked to the curb by Bud Adams from what up til then was a civil service-type job he'd still be at putting up an impressive 6 winning seasons out of 18? So when comparing an HC who inherited a 6-10 team in his 2nd year vs Fisher who over his first 4 active years as a HC went 32-38, maybe you should take a deep breadth before piling on. And yes, I remember you actively wanting Fisher despite any attempts at revisionism.

What does Joe losing control of his team have to do with Jeff Fisher?

you referenced his record over less than 1.5 seasons without the context I've filled in...... Considering you surmised that things would have been better if we hired Fisher in another thread, I'm merely comparing it to your hero's first 3 plus year record for the simple sake of perspective before your Pavlovian droolfest you've waited so long to secrete becomes too "wet." If you really think things would have been better if Coach Mediocre (who thought he was set with Bradford) and his agent didn't collude with his agent's son to extract more money and control from the owner (the same guy who then would have hired Little Schott and Greg Williams for "us"), then I've got a shiny bridge in Brooklyn I can let you have cheap!

If Jeff Fisher was the coach the silliness that is happening right now would not be occurring...yes.

BTW, for the record AGAIN....I wanted Brian Billick to be the coach...when he was not hired I adamantly pulling for Mike McCoy.

Jeff Fisher...I liked the idea, but I consistently said he would NEVER come here. So he was a non factor.

I am also very much opposed to blowing things up. I want to try some continuity around here.

Ha! That chick must be dynamite in the sack.

On the other hand, there may not have been this present clubhouse disruption, but then again you'd have the guy who called Sanchez's plays calling ours and you'd have the disruption of our DC being disgraced and suspended and more nepotism with his son taking the defacto role.. so there's that.

And for the record, I was pleased and maybe still will be content with Philbin (we'll see about that) but never wanted Gruden , wasn't thrilled over the guy who made his bones with Tebow, was lukewarm over Cowher and had targeted Billick as my first choice from the get-go, even creating graphics to support that sentiment with Zimmer as my backup before Joe.

I just think despite your protestations (which make sense) you were a ****ed derringer at the ready to unload on Philbin as soon as it became the first opportune time to do so with PC impunity.

I am actually sad right now. Depressed. Not happy about anything. I just wanted progress this year and it is close to a disaster. I did not even need the playoffs...just progress.
