Dolphins struggling to keep season-ticket base at 30,000

After not winning a playoff game in 11 seasons, fans have stopped buying tickets? What a shocker. We're a laughing stock, old news.

And I don't blame any of the fans.

Many fans on this site are content with mediocre football...

We locals who have had tickets before are not.

i dont live down in miami ,if i did i would b there every game rain or shine.im from buffalo ny but i get sunday ticket and have since day one.WIN or LOOSE i love my dolphins

If you build it, they will come.....

Build a winner that is....

I wish I lived in Miami thou, cause I would be one of those 30,000 no matter what.

When you have a boring offense and no big name players or excitement, most people are going to spend Sunday going to the beach.

Clueless front office, minimal talent on the field, boring game atmosphere...I'm surprised 30K still have season tix. I got rid of mine a few years back and it was a good choice.

slightly suprised that its that low. Not suprising given we trade away our most marketable player

I would buy season tickets but I work on Sundays and I can't guarantee myself to go to all the games. So financially, it makes sense for me to buy tickets from somebody else if I find a way to get off to watch the game live. Usually I'm right here on Finheaven Chat instead tho, as I'm able to work and chat.

That being said, it's a no brainer that once the Fins start winning the season ticket sales will rise. Bad econonmy + Bad football team = Bad season ticket sales. Good thing here is maybe they will do some more of those $250 season ticket deals they had last year.

fans that have a chance to go to the games but wont bc they have lost just means your not a die hard fan...
I live in PA and im trying to figure out a way to buy season tickets to see the dolphins play. knowing ill only be able to go to a couple games its still worth it to me.
I love the miami dolphins and have faith they will turn it around. Im a Fin Fan for life....

My brother and I used to travel down to Miami once a year in November to see a game but we stopped 2 years ago. Not "just" because we were losing but because the games were sooooo boring. The Dolphins don't have to start going .500 before I start coming down there in person again, just put a team on the field that competes week in and week out and people will start showing up again. IMHO

whether people like it our not... our voice is only heard by letting them know we will not throw our money away any longer on this franchise.... every team goes through its ups and downs but this is beyond the normality and actually one of the worst current situations in sports. They are lucky to have 30k.... I gave up my 4 seats and I still love my team but its my way of saying to the front office this is unacceptable
