The Dolphins would like to draft a guard to challenge potential starters Jermon Bushrod and Ted Larsen, and Utah’s Isaac Asiata is very much on their radar.
The Dolphins summoned him to their headquarters for a visit today, Wednesday, with coaches and staff, according to a league source.
Asiata is a potential second-day pick (second or third round).

this dudes like Richie incognito...bowling ball type...has good feet doesn't bend at the waist very much...powerful kid

reminds me of Richie so much

sorry that should read waist bender...doesn't bend at the knees all that much...gets away with it cause of his feet

a lot like incog although I think this kid has lighter feet

Where would you draft him? Does he make it to the late 3rd when we pick?

Keep on with the 2nd/3rd round guard prospects. We shouldn't even be considering spending a first round pick on a guard. That's just flat out stupid.

Feeney, Johnson, Dawkins are all good 2nd round guys. I like Asiata in round 3 if we can find a LB in round 2.

hard grade player...I'd say comp 3 I don't hate it...he's more ready for nfl contact than a lot of guys...tone setter type...probably being viewed though as a out the gate starter I'd say not the project type

Miami doesn't seem to care about overall athlete at guard so I guess nothing can be ruled out that way

I think he'll be gone before the 97 pick so if we want him we might have to take him at 54(which I don't like) or move up some in the 3rd round.

Ozzy rules!!

Nico Siragusa is another one I'd look at in the 5th. Don't trade up for this guy. He's a solid player but not someone you can't live without. For 97, Ben Braden would be toward the top of my wishlist.

I respect your judgement and he must be pretty good to get your positive feedback. However, let's hope he doesn't come with the psychotic personality like Richie.

Or hope that he does? Guards should be crazy. Tackles should be in control. Centers just need to be healthy.

Sign me up. We need someone who won't be a paper weight out there

Football in the trenches isn't played by girls and proper English gentlemen.
Other than RI's reported misogynistic behavior, I never had any issue with him.
Matter of fact, I think he's close to the prototypical interior OLman.

Sounds like another good prospect. Two good guards and we'll be good on the line with Larsen stepping in for Pouncey once he's injured again.
