Dolphins summoned Duke Johnson to their offices today

I was there also. Drove all the way from Williamsburg, stopping at Monticello and Natural Bridge on the way. The lopsided victory made the wee hour return much easier. That was probably the highlight of the Canes season.

Hokies fans were cool. I sat in a Virginia Tech section and chatted with several of them throughout. I respected that many fans stayed to the bitter end, desperately rooting for Virginia Tech to avoid the shut out. Of course, I was annoyed that they did, converting on 4th down.

Anyway, I'll be interested to see who is drafted earlier, Duke Johnson or T.J. Yeldon. Both need to drop weight compared to 2014. Yeldon is niftier but Duke is more powerful with a great stiff arm. I think Yeldon is currently underrated on most draft sites. He reminds me of a more explosive and arrogant Tony Nathan when his weight is proper.

No way!?! I actually live in Yorktown myself when I'm not in Blacksburg so we aren't far away!

Duke is too much like Lamar Miller for my liking. We need versatility in the backfield that's why I like Gurley.

God, please don't spend anything more than a 5th round pick on him. And actually, with the holes we have at CB, G, WR, ILB, OLB, FS, and OT and few picks to fill them, don't draft him, Miami. I will be absolutely shocked if he turns out to be anything more than a backup in the NFL.

I was in Yorktown for two days, visiting the Historical Triangle areas. I chose Williamsburg for the timeshare exchange because there was more to do than in Blacksburg, at least for a tourist of my age. I got one of those weekly passes and toured Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown for 2 days apiece. Ghost tour and all that stuff. I even made it to Colonial Downs. In fact, I watched a little bit of the Dolphins/Bears game at that track.

I'm glad I did it. The weather was gorgeous that time of year. I hadn't visited Williamsburg in 30 years. Then on the way back I detoured a little bit and sampled Richmond, Luray Caverns, Skyline Drive and a few other places.

Yep you've probably been within 5 minutes of my house hahah

Duke would automatically be primary KR/PR....I like the possibilities

Of all the legendary Hurricane running backs, Otis Anderson, Alonzo Highsmith, Edgerrin James, Clinton Portis, Willis McGahee, Frank Gore...

Duke Johnson is the []_[]'s all-time leading rusher with 526 attempts for 3,519 yards and 26 TDs. That's a bangin' 6.7 yards a carry. He meets the minimum physical requirements as a feature back at 5'9" 207#'s. Great vision and feet. Great burst and acceleration. Excellent stiff arm. Willing blocker and a dangerous receiver. The kid is special and will continue to be so through out his successful NFL career as an elite RB.

Him and Miller in the same backfield.... Talk about weapons...
