Dolphin's talent on Offense for OC

I agree. I actually want to get one of the top TEs in the 1st round. Ebron would help the team in a major way, go O-line in the 2nd witha guard, and fix the Tackle position in FA.

I would draft the TE Ebron in the first round if one of the elite LTs isn't there... There is talent on O, but the horrid OL couldn't let it shine or develop.

I'd not be counting on Gibson or Keller. Both have been hurt before. Keller might not even be with us. We need to draft a E at last that an block and catch. We do have 3 WR's we can count on with Wallace, Hartline and Mathews. As far as RB, I believe Miller can be very good with some good blocking but HIS own blocking as far as picking up the blitz must get a lot better. We need another RB that can block AND get the short yards. Then we need 4 new staters up front.Yes there're some pieces to start with but that's 4 guys up front plus a RB and a real TE. Hope we can at least get 2 staring guys up front in free agency and 2 more on draft day along with a RB and the TE.

Ozzy rules!!

I am not counting on Keller, but think Gibson will be a big part of the offense next year.

calling matthews hands the best on the team is really ironic, since he was the guy that dropped that pass on 3rd down that hit him right in the hands, if he turns around there is only green in front of him with a 7-0 lead in a deciding win and you're in situation in week 17 at home against the jets, that drop changed everything

It was amazing how he has been so consistant, never dropping a pass all season, then in the most important moment of the season for him, he dropped it.

We don't have a blocking tight end or running back who can block worth a damn
and we all know what we have with this offensive line. Till this is addressed we will mediocre at best

Needs on offense:

4 linemen...2 rookies and 2 FA's
Veteran RB that can pick up a blitz and help Miller improve
1 big catch radius guy...preferable that he is a TE

On defense...
Re-sign one of the DT's...Soliai is my pick
Dump Wheeler as June 1st designee...Replace him with Jenkins or draftee/FA
Tage or re-sign Grimes
Re-sign Clemens
Re-sign Carroll

Not a sexy offseason, but one of "meat and potato" needs.

I agree with this. I would also:
Resign Keller (I like what he was doing in preseason)
Keep D. Paterson for the right money (incentives)

i still can not believe that he dropped that ball.otherwise ireland would still be our gm

Neither Thomas or Miller have vision. Jones-Drew may be an option. The OL needs a complete makeover. Jermichael Finley or Brandon Pettigrew are options in free agency. That moves Clay back to an H Back role which better suits him. I'll be shocked if Keller is ready for 2014 and won't be surprised if he never plays again. An absolute brutal injury.

Pretty rosy view of our RBs, but yeah there's plenty of young talent on that offense for an OC to be excited about. The oline problems might be intimidating, but it's manageable.

I pretty much agree with this. I like the 2+2 oline idea..Id actually probably sign 3 where two you are signing to starter money and then maybe a buy low type guy. Agree with the defensive philosophy as well.

My thing is I hope this GM coming in drafts BPA. Depending on FA we are probably still going to need fill some needs but I want good players. All Im saying is I dont want us passing up a guy like Amaro or a Mosely etc to draft some OT with a 2nd round grade just because we need one.

We were trying to use a zone blocking scheme with bull dozers and it just doesn't work like that. We need an offensive line coach like Bill callahan.
