Dolphins targeting free agents to improve special teams

After spending the first few days of free agency targeting potential starters, the Dolphins have apparently turned their attention to upgrading the special teams unit, which last season was among the worst in the NFL.

According to a source, former Bengals receiver Tab Perry and former Chiefs fullback Boomer Grigsby are visiting with the Dolphins, and both could receive an offer based on special teams play.

Parcells said in a press conference when he was with the Cowboys he told Cowboys S Keith Davis that he would always have a place on his team based just on his special teams play. Davis had surgery in the offseason, but as soon as he gets a clean bill of health I would expect Parcells to show interest.
