The
Dolphins are taking a bit of a gamble this season by rolling with two quarterbacks on the active roster, especially when those are two of the oldest players on the team. If Jay Cutler and Matt Moore go down, Miami’s next option is tight end MarQueis Gray or receiver Jarvis Landry.
Gray played quarterback at the University of Minnesota but has been exclusively a tight end since making it to the NFL in 2013. He still throws occasionally and claims he’s still got it.
“Oh yeah,” he said. “We compete with the players every now and then. Actually throwing to receivers, I haven’t done that, but drills-wise and having competitions, I’m still the top dog.”
