Dolphins Team Report

Alabi seems like a guy that's gonna shine for us next season. I have been hearing nothing but great things on him and it should be a nice competion between him and McIntosh. I have faith in Alabi that he is gonna be a good LT for us and open up some running lines for Ricky and Ronnie.

Good read. The part about Capers is interesting. I thought the biggest reason he didn't want to except the job yet was because he wanted to see if he'd get an opportunity to Head Coach another team. Looks like at least part of the reason is that he doesn't want to step on some toes. I say, STEP ON THEM TOES DOM. Come to Miami. This guy would be huge for us.
I've heard ALOT of talk about Alabi's potential. Let's hope he lives up to it and we can call him another steal in an already impressive draft.

I highly doubt that Shulters will be the only starter to return to the Dolphins next year. I think Daniels will be there somewhere.

It also states that the coaching staff is high on Wade Smith. That is going to make a lot of people upset.

Yeah, I can't imagine Smith being back in the line up. That's scary thought. But maybe Houck can get something out of him.

When Smith got hurt Miami immediately signed two players, a guard and a center. That tells me that Smith was in their plans.

he was actually looking pretty good during the limited time he had at center... I aint saying he will be our future starter... but I definatly see him stayin on the roster...

" Alabi was inexperienced at the position, but is tall, has long arms and a big frame necessary to play the position effectively. He's also exceptionally bright. "

That is good to hear.

I tend to think Shulters, Daniels, and Bell will be back.

As it relates to Wade Smith, he had a decent rookie campaign (for being thrown into a starting role prematurely) and just did not have the coaching to progress in his second season. Him bulking up to 325, Hudson Houck’s tutelage, and his athleticism, we may have a decent player in the making. Now if there was only a way to make him “bite the head off a goat†mean…

idk about Lance, he may command more coin in FA due to his experience. I wouldn't break the bank for him.

Wade Smith never played well for the Dolphins. Then, he got hurt and disappeared. My concern is that he is a practice player, and says the right things to the coaches. He may get another chance to prove himself in games, but if he picks up where he left off, alot of people will be upset with him getting playing time.

I could certainly see all of our starters replaced next year. That doesn't mean cutting Daniels, it just means he'll either start at FS (making him a new starter there) or be the nickel back. I'm just not sold on him starting at CB again.

I'd be ok with Schulters coming back for another year, if it's a cheap enough deal. We would certainly need to draft another FS though and develop him for the future.
