Dolphins | Team signs UDFA Riggs

Was on dolphin Digest's board and heard there are reports out of Knoxville that we will sign Gerald Riggs Jr. runningback. I know Nick recruited him heavy and tennesee Titans are deeper at RB than us so it makes alot of sense. Hope it true because if he was not injured he would have went day one easily.

I hate to make up a second thread and if you want to merge this to just undrafted free agents signing please do. I for one know that there is very little info out there on our signings for days so i know many appreciate getting the heads up. This would be a great signing in my humble opinion. He would have a great chance to make this team.

I like it. He has all the physical tools lets hope he can put it all together and help this team out. I read somewhere that he really didnt fit into tennesse's scheme well and will excel in an NFL offense more so than in college. Any way if he works hard i think he can be pretty nice.

I always link as soon as possible but alot of the info I get, will not always be released timly thats why every friggin year we dolphans are the last to know of undrafted free agents.

it's all good - in the future though put "reported" or "unconfirmed" in your title to avoid any confusion until you have a linky - i can always change the title thread for you when you come up with it.... :wink:

This is a really nice pickup. I've seen riggs a few times in the last 3 years and was really impressed.

I like Riggs. Probably the best RB to go undrafted IMHBSBO (In my humble, but sometimes biased opinion).
