We're only better than the Titans and Browns.

The offshore gambling site Bovada.lv recently issued updated Super Bowl odds that, well, the best that can be said for the Dolphins is that they’re not the Titans or the Browns. Those are the only teams with odds worse than Miami’s.

Ignore the ratings. Some of these writers/sites have to fill space with something and predictions are pretty easy.
Is Miami 3rd worst? I doubt it. We can argue over 20th and 25th, but I think 30th is too low.
THat siad, any prediction (even mine) is based on endless 'ifs,' many unknowns, and innumerable 'unless's.' It IS reasonable to say Miami has lost talent and replacements are unproven or not-yet-replaced. It is fair to say (as all 32 teams) injuries will affect record. It is fair to say coaching is as important as talent. Beyond that? Speculation.

This will all change once the odds makers see how strong Dallas Thomas has gotten.

Meanwhile up here in the Northeast the Pat cawk riders are already saying how amazing the team will be. Pretty much have said no D will be able to stop them, and almost guaranteeing a 5th ring for Shady.

Remind me why I moved here?

The Dolphins traded away their #8 spot in round one

that means that there are 7 worse teams based on their finishes last season.

The fact that RT played the way that he did obviously is impacting how this team is perceived nationally,

along with the fact that we have a ROOKIE head coach and a ROOKIE DC this year,

and we are shackled with a HANDS-ON VP who has a bad history.

What I have found most interesting is how much the opinion nationally of RT has changed in just this one season.

The other day on the NFL channel on their Path to the Draft program they re-ranked the top ten QB's taken in the past few years.

I'm sure if they did that BEFORE last season RT would have been in the top 5 of ten.

This year he did not even make the top ten.

They have also been steadily showing clips of him sitting on the ball and getting sacked when their were open WRs.

Still especially was open plenty of the time, he is the one in the latest clip that they showed.

On paper? Maybe a little harsh but not much

This is a bit more damning than some of the opinion pieces that have come out regarding Miami's off-season.
Vegas isn't in the business of losing money. Those coming up with the odds/lines are far more accurate than anyone on any sports network/website.
It's clear, unlike Tannenbaum, they think this team is worse today than when the season ended.

Having said that, it's also Super Bowl odds...I'm not sure even the most optimistic of fans is thinking of the Super Bowl at the moment. And at the end of the day it's not much difference if you're 66-1 or 40-1, 30-1, their saying you have little chance of that one goal.
It will be more interesting to see where they put the over/under wins once the entire off-season has completed. Although, with Miami, they probably don;t have to put much thought into it each year. They can just stick it at like 7.5 and get even action each way.

I have serious doubts....we're that high. 30th? I think maybe 31st is more likely. Better than Cleveland.

Sounds like no one told them tannehill wasn't allowed to audible under Lazor.

Now that he is he will flash like a prime Peyton Manning.

And vegas plus most of those sites had us winning 9 games last year

Let's at least see the draft before writing off the season guys. Gase may surprise everybody and actually know what he's doing.

Reminder guys. No personal attack will be tolerated.
