As any of you guys who have been here since the first years of the Wanny era know, I am not one for starting a new topic. However, after glancing at the Uni Watch blog (by the guy who has a column by the same name on ESPN). Anyway, apparently the Dolphins are changing their logo.

Personally, this can be really good, or really bad. Either way, I thought this was a breaking news piece that you would all be interested in. I know that I will be talking about it tonight at five and six.
 
Interesting, not sure about the credibility of the source but interesting nonetheless.
 
Hmm, not sure how to feel. I love the current logo, but am interested to see what a new logo would look like.

Not confident on the source, but still interesting news.
 
I think the source is very credible. The guy who runs the blog is the most in the know guy in uniforms and logos. Also this is from an interview with the NFL Creative Services Directive. Can't get more official than that.

Do you think this could be one of the topics(besides London) discussed in today's PC?
 
I wish they would just leave the logo alone, or go back to the original.

I really doubt it. If past experience shows us anything, its that these things are usually not revealed until sometime in March. One thing is for sure though, if we do make a change for THIS season, it will be before April 1, which is when the NFL begins to make preps for the NFL Draft (including banners with logos on them).
 
frankly...i'm thinkin we're on the cusp of seein' a lotta changes with this team...the logo, the uni's, the stadium, the field (yeah, it's official...NFL players have voiced their opinion, and Miami has THE WORST FIELD in the league!! natch)...yall are gonna be upset, but...CHANGE IS GOOD!!!

Exactly....I like the current logo as well.....it's better than the old logo. I feel like they can only make it look bad

I think you mean, change can be good, not change IS good.
