Dolphins to interview Kyle Shanahan and Ben McAdoo for OC job

COULD…pure speculation….Kubiak and Shanahan be OC and QB Coach respectively?

Please no Shanahan.

I am not sure he is that bad. I blame RGIII. Think how Kyle and his father changed their offense on the fly last year to fit RGIII and still won. That is coaching. This year was a locker room disaster created by the owner and QB. He finds a way to run the ball and seems to adjust to his players talents. I do not think he is that awful of a pick.

as much as I disagree with Hayden, I actually agree that Kyle wouldn't be a bad hire. The biggest knock against him is he has an unhealthy love for John Beck and Rex Grossman. He is not without fault, but he's better than people give credit for

Agreed. I was impressed how Mike & son tweaked their system to adapt to Bob's strengths.

Living in the Mtn Time zone, I loathe the "regional" teams.

p.s. Don't even get me started about the tools that announce Rockies games

Both should be considered good candidates. Kyle Shanahan doesn't bother me at all.......and I like McAdoo. The more of these caliber guys they are considering...the better.

Shanahan wouldn't be my 1st choice HOWEVER lets not forget he worked with Kubiak in Houston & helped develop an offense last year with RG3 & an unknown RB in Alfred Morris. This year you can't put it totally on him but even so Morris was solid & they made progress in the development of Cousins.

ALSO he will highly motivated to get out of his dad's shadow & prove he has what it takes.

I'd take shannahan for QB coach.

i laughed when i saw kyle shanahans offense under rg3 as a rookie and how much despite all the contact he was taking as a ball carrier they kept running him to more as the majority kept talking about the #s he was putting up never getting that it was not sustainable over the long haul...let's just hope that kyle knew or had figured out that was the only game that rg3 could play and thus it's why they stuck with it instead of putting our pocket qb who can do anything you ask him to if you put the package together into even more harms way than the oline and pass pro in general already did this year...

if anyone needs a season of as little contact as possible it's ryan tannehill in 2014...

Amen to this. Ill also say RG3 was the biggest problem with their O and quite frankly team.

Shanahan wouldn't be my first choice, but I wouldn't be mad.

Outside of that, what do you see in his offensive concepts? Because traditionally he hasn't run his QB that much and it's been leaked at least twice that the Shanahans flat out did not want Griffin. Snyder made that move.

Whichever guy that can get us to hit on the long ball and have a decent running game I'm in.

Does seem some talented guys are interested in this job. That's definitely a good sign.
