Dolphins to represent the AFC in the Superbowl?

This thread was bound to happen lol

Seriously though, how many teams are there in the AFC that you guys feel,without a doubt, could beat us? Unbias opinions here

The Patriots, who probably wont make it to the playoffs, are the only team that could probably beat us more times than not. Too much offensive firepower for our defense (Just look what the Chiefs did to us, even though the halftime adjustments were impressive).

Titans/Steelers/Ravens? All three of these teams are very similar. Big, physical teams.. Stop the run and force these so-so QBs to beat us. I think we could seriously compete with them. The Steelers are the most physical with their D, but balance that with them having one of the weakest Olines in the game.

Indianapolis is a team that I believe we wouldn't have a problem scoring on. They're defense is fast. They're just kind of "light" up front. Use our four-headed monster. Yes, I said four, Ronnie, Ricky, Cobbs, and Polite. Obviously Manning is their whole team but with Harrison finally feeling the affects of aging, Manning has not been as successful as in years past.

Broncos/Chargers- We beat them both and see no reason we couldn't take them again. Although the Chargers might finally be getting hot, might be too late though.

-Dolphins would most likely play the Ravens in the 1st round
-Dolphins would play the Steelers in the 2nd round.
-Dolphins would play, either the Colts or the Titans in the AFC Championship Game.
 
I've been mulling this scenario you have presented here for a couple of days now. Of all the games that could be ahead of us, the most compelling...and most dangerous...is this upcoming one. I really believe that if we can pull off our own "miracle" this Sunday by beating the Jets in the Meadowlands, we could mount a march to the Super Bowl like other recent wild-card teams have done.

GO PHINS! DESTROY THE JETS! KILL KILL KILL AND THEN GRIND THEIR BONES INTO THE GRIDIRON!
 
Please dude just stop. It's either going to be Ravens or Patriots @ Dolphins in the playoffs assuming they beat the Jets. Both of these teams already beat you at home.

Could you guys beat the Colts? HELL NO. Steelers? in Pitt? HELLLLL NO. Titans? LOL.

The dolphins were the beneficiaries of a VERY EASY schedule. Now I'm not saying the jets didn't have an easy schedule because we did.

It has been a good run for the fins, but you guys are going to get smoke if you make the playoffs, if you guys even make the playoffs ;)

Y'all beat them, I don't see why we can't.

Very easy schedule lol, I'm sure glad we beat Seattle, Denver, Oakland and San Fran like u guys did . . . . oh wait . .

We played ONE bad game this year . . . at Arizona. We lost our composure twice this year . . . both at home, against New England and Baltimore . . . and we had 2 fluke losses at home against "THE JEST" and @ Houston.

This team stays in games and that is what makes them dangerous. When u don't shoot yourself in the foot, u are dangerous.

Yea our defense isn't Tennessee, Pitt or Bmore . . . and our offense isn't Indy or San Diego or Denver or New England . . . in fact we probably are MOST like the Jets than any team in the AFC . . . except we are more consistent, better coached and we have the better, smarter QB. We are good on both sides of the ball . . . and when u can say that, u can beat anybody.

From here on out, it is what it is . . . . but it would make my year to beat u guys on Sunday and then come out the following Sunday and get revenge on either the Ravens or Pats. Either way, this team can no longer dissappoint me.

Hahahahahahahaha a jets fan saying this? you guys blooowwww.. If i had said the Fins would go 11-5 in August and win the AFC East and the Jets and Patriots would miss the playoffs, you're "hell no" response would be heard then as well soo once we get in the big dance, everything changes my disgustingly envious enemy. So please dude, you stop, stop hating on a team that knows how to do things the right way and not BUy a championship the cheezy way, and still not get it lol

Don't quite think we're there yet, but hey, next year, who knows... plus if we go next year, it'll be a HOME game!!

Don't be counting your eggs before they hatch now. The fins still have to beat the Jets in the meadowlands, something they haven't done in 5 years.

Yeah, but WE beat Seattle. How'd you do? I agree that it's a little premature to start with SB aspirations, but the Playoffs start this week. And we're one of the last teams with hopes of making the Playoffs to begin with.

BTW - Champions win against the teams they are supposed to beat. We do that. I can handle losing to teams that are better than us in the talent department, not against teams like Seattle. You laugh about us probably losing to Tennessee, but were you laughing last week?

There is alot of things we haven't done in 5 years . . . we are doing alot of those things this year . . . and at the top of the list is "win at the meadowland . . . week 17".
 
we can barely beat the Raiders, Seahawks, Chiefs, Rams, Bills, Niners....we've lost to the only good teams we've played, really. it's definitely a concern.

very true.... that's just the Dolphins though... think back... how many times were you able to sit and watch a Dolphins game and just relax knowing they were gonna win.... This years first Patriots game and............................................................. can't remember another one off the top of my head.

I went to the first game of the season in Miami when the Jets beat us with Farve's lucky duck pass. The guy in front of me was a Jets fan. I looked at him after the game and said you played well enough to beat us but you will not make the playoffs. I then told him Farve was the worst move the Jets have ever made and how great it was for the Fins. What a bunch of idiots. Did you really think you could pick up Farve's old a** and make a Superbowl run? HaHa.......................
