In other words - another Jonathan Martin???

Woa didnt seet this !

Pouncey has apparently reached out to Arkin, and Arkin's first act as a Dolphins o-lineman will be to immediately write a check for no less than $20,000 for a trip to Cancun. :p

That $20,000 is going into Incognitos defense fund

I"m guessing Irish picks over Dallas practice squad due having some sort of inside information pipeline.

Meh...he's a placeholder till draftday.

The problem I have with Ireland's 2013 draft is he had a ****load of draft picks to find key contributors for our football team, but so far the contribution of our rookie class has been pretty weak. We'll see how this class looks in a few years, hopefully it isn't a complete waste.

You should never judge a draft the 1st yr. You have to look 2-3 yrs down the road. The prior 2 drafts have been solid, unless you are one of the posters who has to force a narrative.

I think that 20K may be for Pounceys guns he will force him to purchase not a Cancun trip.

Dallas Thomas was always a developmental prospect, look at Egnew everyone hated the guy, he appeared lost and worthless and everyone mostly wanted him cut but a year and a half later the guy gets opportunities to produce and then he starts to produce and you talk about how well he's developed and Bravo to the staff for his development! Maybe you should take the same approach with Dallas Thomas, maybe they saw this 3rd round pick like the last one as a guy who won't pay immediate return on investment until he develops in a few years. Not all rookies come out day 1 as gangbusters, some take time and some never develop, so far this regime shows it does develop players, give the guy a chance, he may surprise you down the line!

Like I said, we'll see how it looks in a couple of years. Hopefully Dion Jordan, Jamar Taylor, Dion Sims and company become solid starters for us. They definitely have the potential.

The only problem I have with this is why sign someone from Dallas considering they are having offensive line woes also? So we pick someone from their practice squad? Why not look at teams with a god offensive line to poach their practice squads?

2013 - Any football fan knows you don't judge a draft class in the first season, let alone the first half of a season.

2012 - Tanne, Vernon, Miller, Matthews are all producing from 2012 draft. Hell even Egnew has caught some passes the last couple weeks. Martin was at least playing until this incident, and it wsa a good pick when it happend. Most had him as a late 1st rounder and we had OLine issues. Obviously in hindsight not a good pick but what are you going to do. That's 6 out of 9. Some obviously better than others but all playing. Tanne (in my eyes) a future franchise QB, obviously still has a lot to prove. Thats just my opinion on him

2011 Pro bowl center Pouncey, Clay, And Wilson all contributing.. Daniel Thomas is whatever, I'm not going to praise him but he is contributing. 4/6 starting players

2010 Odrick whom is ****ing awesome now. Needed a year or two to grow. Is a solid member of this team now. Misi, another solid member of our defense. John Jerry starting guard. NOlan CArroll contributing. RESHAD JONES a 5th round pick top tier saftey. 5/8 starters with future probowlers in Odrick and Jones.

I'll stop there and admit that it is pretty bad after that. But who was running those drafts?

So you were saying again?

You think Ireland is just the worst? Go look at New Englands 2012/2011 drafts. There's like 4 starters there, the rest absolute ****. How many second round CBs have they failed on?

Yeah, but one of their picks was Gronkowski, who is worth all Ireland's picks put together. And they would have had a second future HOFer if he stayed away from that murder stuff.

Ireland would have to do actual work. That obviously won't happen.
