Here's a list of who is out there for now. My top 4:

Knighton- 528 snaps, VG on the run, above average on the pass. 2 sack, 5 hits, 9 hurries.
Williams- 427 snaps, VG on the run, above average on the pass. 1 sack, 2 hits, 12 hurries.

Close to the same and I want 1 of the 2.

Fairley- 297 snaps, top 15 run and pass, 2 sacks, 3 hits, 17 hurries in 8 games.
Odrick- 817 snaps, average run, good on the pass, 1 sack, 9 hits, 19 hurries.

I want 1 of the 2.

If you look at the snap count, other than Odrick, they play around half the time in rotations. We need 2 DT's, and the third can come from the draft, developing players, or a cheap vet. IF we move Starks and Mitchell, we save over $10M, which they were not worth last year.

All depends on price. I like Williams the best. Fairley might be the best player on this list when he wants to be…but I don't know if I trust him enough to give up the money…and he has benefited by playing next to Suh.

Guessin the Fins keep mitchell and resign JO though.

I'd like to keep Mitchell. Mitchell paired with fairley and odrick would be really nice. But odrick is probably gone so I'd say just mitchell, fairley and whoever we draft. There's gotta be a decent FA put there cheap too for depth.

Think Odrick is gone also. Probably going to have to look to the draft. Of course if we can get some production from our younger players (in general) would sure help instead if having a long draft list once again.

Geez, I am more impressed with Odrick's PT vs. the other guys.

check the price tags on everyone. then make an educated decision.

Odrick was easily our best overall DT over the entire season, and did eat up a lot of snaps. Mitchell and Starks crumbled, for the most part, in the second half. Don't know if it was the competition, Coyle not adapting or their ability and/or play but. it was bad as we all could see.

I cannot see getting that much production from our young guys or the draft to be a top two player in the DT rotation. Being a 3rd and/or 4th guy could work for this year.

Every time I see the name Odrick all I can think of is Earl Thomas.....why Ireland, why?

I agree for DT SB2, really meant for other positions on the team, like CB for instance. We have drafted for it but it's still not fixed by the picks so it has to again be a draft consideration this year.

Gotcha AR. I really liked Taylor, and thought he would be a starter last year, let alone this one. I think the team thought the same. That's the only reason I could see signing Finnege short term over a guy like Verner for about the same money. I still believe he will be good but, with Grimes age, I have to look to a 27 year old in Culliver for this D

Mitchell isn't going anywhere and played fairly well throughout the season. Randy Starks mailed it in all season is gone. We'll see what happens with Odrick, he's good, but I see him leaving... similar situation to Langford leaving - we wanted to keep him, but not worth the price tag he will probably get.
