Dolphins tried shopping Wallace to the Eagles last offseason?

They didn't. That was La Confora throwing crap at the wall and seeing what will stick. He also said the Dolphins were trading Cam Wake and Dion Jordan.

I always love the self-righteous indignation these guys get when they are asked about their accuracy. No one gets it right all the time no matter what their profession, yet the vehement screams of injury and outrage from reporters when they get poked is reminiscent of politicians. To say nothing of their fury when they are outright flaunted(see: Marshawn Lynch). To be fair, La Confora is hardly the most guilty of such a practice. Hes not even the most guilty in recent memory. Its a toss up between Armando losing his **** at the Vietnam veteran or Mel Kiper when hes challenged about...oh, anything.

Regardless, i dont see why this particular report is hard to believe. It makes logical sense. We had a front office change, Wallace's salary was/is bogging us down, the Eagles were about to cut DeSean Jackson and were actively looking for replacements(they later spent second and third round picks on receivers). Plus, its not like Philly is known for being conservative when it comes to making deals.
If Hickey pursued a trade, id applaud it. Wallace was a poor signing. While we knew going in he was never going to come close to living up to his contract, the situation has only deteriorated since he first joined. If Hickey saw this coming and tried to avoid it, then thats not a bad thing.

Who can believe anything now that we have reporters lying about getting shot down in battle or watching dead bodies float by in hurricanes.

We would still take a huge cap hit even if he was traded... for that reason that point of your argument does not seem accurate at all... because if we traded him his salary would bog us down even more.

Jason La Canfora is hands down the worst beat writer, he is always wrong on his "insider information," and literally assumes the most ridiculous ideas each year, he is even worse than Omar and the rest of the clowns reporting here in S. Florida... and the rest of the country.

I am not even arguing about this particular story, I am simply arguing that JLC is the Phillip Wheeler of sports reporters.

Jason La Canfora makes stuff up, that has become very apparent over the last few years. Either that or a ton of other writers/reporters have grouped together to make JLC look bad as they constantly shoot down his reports. Also those reports that get shot down surprisingly never turn out to be true. So what do you think makes more sense, JLC is a liar or that everyone else is bad at their job and just out to get him?

Surprised he hasn't apologized or been forced to apologize by CBS for his hatred and insulting tweets to the guy that questioned his track record. For a professional he acts like a child when people don't worship or agree with him. Not to forget he was the same writer that sent out a pro-Nazi tweet a few months ago.

I hope theyve offered him to every team this year. Cap hit shmap hit. Dont care. Be gone whiny quitter.

I actually got into a bit of a twitter feud with JLC the other night, and I told him that a bunch of stuff he reports on from "unnamed sources" never ends up happening.

All he did was make a couple half-assed remarks on it and then tried to take a **** on my career. He also didn't use the right form of "you're" and "your."

He told me there's a difference between (paraphrasing here) "saying somebody is going to get traded and reporting that a team is trying to trade somebody" and then basically said to me "Oh I didn't know you had Dion Jordan's agent on speed dial"

All in all, I agree that JLC doesn't have the most trustworthy sources and will often put stuff like this out there that doesn't stick.

Then I asked him why everybody in the national media thinks it's OK to use unnamed sources and get away with saying a bunch of stuff that's likely used as a smokescreen with teams and he said "How can I do my job if you take my tools away?"

I'm convinved jlc is another one of bob krafts guys in the media. Always rips mia for no reason, backs up NE Relentlessly.

Kraft has serious media pull.
