I don't really think the defense is "messed up", perhaps middle of the pack or slightly better. They would look a whole lot better if the offense would score some points.

GO PHINS~!

Explain how our defense is "messed up" when its ranked #6?

They are ranked 6th in the league. TD will be a stabilizing influence, but he's not an impact player.
Can he play QB?

Question is, do you watch the games? Miller's TD was on one blown coverage.
Buffalo's offense had under 200 yds of total offense. Losman threw for under 150 yds.
Out of all the reasons why the Phins are 0-2 and all you could come up with was ripping the defense?

I know youre right the offense isnt clicking but OUR O LINE SHOULD BE REVAMPED and the PLAY CALLING NEEDS TO IMPROVE we are underutilizing our small role players and big name players

i really don't think that da defense has messed up it just been out on the field too long and that is killin us and alibi i never seen him play so hopefully he knows what to do to help us out

I think Miami's biggest problem was falling for the hype! I heard the leaders of this team talking about how all that happened last year doesn't mean squat this year, but I don't think they believed their own words. I think our team went on the field expecting teams just to quit before the first snap and we looked shocked teams actually played hard, especially the Bills. I think the more we lose the more humbled the players will become. That's coaching, how does Saban not go into a gameplan and make everygame life or death?? I think Saban is one of the many learning some hard lessons.

good point

The offense can only be as good as the field general running it. I remeber i used to think our playcalling stunk all the time but everytime a backup came in, ie Bouman, Frerotte the offense started moving the ball all over the field. The book on Daunte is that he can't read good defenses very well and doesn't study film. This would leave him with his athletic ablility to make a play and improvise, which obviously he doesn't have right now. Maybe he should sit until he's close to 100%.

I'm glad to have Daniels back, but our secondary was much better against the Bills. The reason we lost that game was the offensive line, not the defense.
