I was quite curious about the exposure the Dolphins will get this week. Since I will be in Ocala the question was:
- leave all family functions behind and head for a sports bar
or
- leave all family functions behind and watch at the house of family members

I guess I got lucky and have both options available:

I'm assuming it will. This is like a Sunday, shifted one day forward. No way I can get to a sports bar on Xmas Eve with the whole family in town, so I better be right!

Really? I thought it was more complicated than that. I wonder why, for instance, the one station in Fort Smith would want that over the Indy or Tennessee games. Oh well, I have the Ticket anyways just have been always curious...

Yeah, I found an email address to the program director for KTVT, which is the CBS station here in Dallas/Ft. Worth and was asking about how they choose the games to play when it's not a local team. He said they are chosen based on projected viewership. They receive statistical data on what teams average more viewers and of course it's generally the teams that are doing well.

Even NFL network is talking about the phins games as the important one to watch since it means 'must win' for Denver and Baltimore with a Miami win.

Up here its all Packers or division rivals every Sunday. Even if it is Bears/Jaguars over a better game...dumb
