Good Afternoon all.

Long time Dolphins fan from Newcastle in the UK and I'm coming across with my wife for our first game before Christmas and hoping for some local help.

My question to anyone with more knowledge/history on this is how likely is the Jags game to be moved to the Saturday 22nd?

We only arrive early Saturday so it would be a push getting there and I don't want to buy tickets in case. It looks like they have taken the 22nd off the potential fixture but I can't find anything confirming that. 23rd will be perfect for us.

Thank you very much for any help.

Hi Shuggy

It's already been confirmed that this game definately won't be flexed so it stays on Sunday......pretty sure it was on Nfl official website a couple of weeks ago....also reported by several media folks on twitter.

You should be able to get cheap tickets too. It doesn't look like either team will have anything to play for at that point.

Take a couple days to visit the Keys if you have the time )

Thank you Finatic and Stoobz. Appreciate your time to reply.
Great news it is perfect for our trip over on the 22nd.

Ticket wise I was looking at block 116 or 120 as we want to be close to the action so they are the cheapest close seats (behind the visitors but I don't mind so much.) Thinking on buying through Vividseats or Ticketmaster but the admin fees are extortionate!!

Stoobz I am hoping to hire a car and head down to the keys when we come back from our cruise. Looks a stunning place to be.

Thank you again for your help.

Shuggy, Sounds like this will work out for you. Don't know if you have tailgate plans, but we have a nice finheaven tailgate right at the East 12 Pole. We'd love to have you visit.

That sounds brilliant Nando thank you very much for the invitation. We would like to get up there early so it is definitely an option.

I'll have to research how the tailgate works (times etc) as we don't have anything like it over here. Everyone is squashed into pubs before our matches so we would love to get the full experience over there.

Just out of curiousity, where would you recommend buying tickets from and sitting where? We want to be down close to the action and see the seats behind the visitors bench are $100 cheaper than dolphins side.
Is this a good idea or will the atmosphere be worse and surrounded by jags fans?
Thanks again

I think its a good idea only because its late in the year and the sun won't be strong. Not sure about the angle though (glare?) Also I don't think there will be a measurable amount more Jags fans just because its behind their bench. For our sake I hope the Jags continue to implode and the Phins still remain in the playoff hunt the atmosphere should be great.

I'm not sure at the moment as I wasn't looking into this game but I ended up getting vacation approved for that Sunday! :hclap:

So *now* I have to get serious about making a long trip (10ish hours) for a nice Christmas present :woot:

Great news. Last home game of the season should be a good one regardless of Playoff potential. I just need to decide where to sit.

Phins4Ever gets there between 8:30 and 9:00 local time to start set up and save spots for others. We set up multiple tents and have a bar, music, and other things. We grill food and enjoy the mornings before game time. :) Then we start breaking down around 12:00 to get ready to go in for the game. There is a permanent post about it at the top of the main forum.

Can you please link to this?

I'm driving down from PA starting Friday midday. I'll get there by Saturday night/Sunday morning. I haven't bought tickets yet, because I can't find confirmation that it won't be flexed.
