Dolphins v. Saints Highlights Youtube w/ Sean Smith INT

I noticed lately that Pennington has been locking in on receivers and missing wide open guys.

Look at :53 of the video, and I think that's a wide open Ginn on the left.. If Penny would have just tilted his head, or swiveled his head to the left, it's an easy 1st down throw.

Instead Pennington gets smacked to the ground by Ellis.

I have been noticing this a lot from Pennington in preseason. He is missing wide open receivers out there- not with his arm, but missing them with his eyes.
 
Such a great INT. It was even better because his feet were PERFECT and he someone stopped a bullet pass with one..hand just..thrown up there.
 
Sean Smith interception was brilliant. I wanted him as our 1st round pick. To grab him as the 3rd pick, wow, thats great.

Cant wait till the real stuff starts.

No doubt Ginn is wide open but Penne started rolling right and to look back to the left let alone throw it back would have been tough.

he was actually a second round pick... we had 2 second round picks and we used our second 2nd round pick to take him...
 
and to add we got him at the perfect spot... he hasn't been playing CB all that long and was coming in quite raw technically, but had a lot of upside potential!!! Vontae was the opposite, just is over-aggressive often (Buckley)

cobb TD run check fasano seal that edge great blocking by the whole team but i love to see our TE be a blocking force
 
Penny and his completeion % helped out again by some spectacular catches by Cam and Bess
