Dolphins victimized by Bill Parcells' bad blueprint, defense's disappearance

What you fail to see is this team was headed in the right direction until Ross bought the team.....we do not know how much influence he has on all personal decsions and we probably will never know......my eyes tell me Ross is the problem and this team will always be average at best and 1-15 at worst which we will be if Ross cleans house and hires a GM and Coach on his own....all you guys screaming for this FO to get fired, becareful of what you wish for, you just might get it.......

really? an arguement could be made that huizenga's teams were worse over the last five years before ross bought the team. Huizenga was just smart and saw the future economy and already knows south florida attitude sucks. thats why browns fans are browns fans and miami fans are miami fans.

He named Sparano head coach because he wanted him to be a puppet. He wanted things to be done HIS way, he just didn't want to be the one on the sidelines. He knew neither Rex or Smith would have put up with that. We all bash Sparano, but hell, he was put in a no win situation once the "puppet master" up and left. Poor guy had no real HC experience, and he is pretty much learning on the fly in the NFL for God sake!

If I remember correctly, cam cameron got hired when it was tomlin that Huizenga wanted but Mueller wanted cameron. Huizenga blew it long before ross invested wasted money in billy "horse race" parsells that could walk away from the job and take the money regardless. who gets that kind of deal? miami market gives out that kind of deal.

got to get out of this market. Got to invest in a guy who will work hard to make this team different in attitude and not invest in guys who will just take the money and complete control and then be gone in 3 years.

People, including myself want cowher but will he just follow the same recipe? He and Gruden will want big money like Parsells got but to coach team as well. Well, I think maybe we should go young and find our own cowher within the ranks of the NFL.

The '08 draft will haunt us forever. Who drafts a lineman with the number one overall pick..... The Dolphins! SMH

Mike Tomlin isn't even that great of a coach.. He inherited great players and has been running with them since...It wasn't like he inherited a 1-15 team and had to figure out a way to build the talent.. He got a bunch of young upcoming players that were already studs mixed in with some solid veterans. Already had a good coaching staff set in place and just had to go in and be a face..

And to think that I was excited when the news came out that Parcells would be joining the 'phins. Now, when I hear him talk, he sounds like a complete boob. The game passed him by years ago.

Granted, Tomlin inherited a damn good situation in Pittsburgh, but the guy is still a damn good coach. I wish we could've had Tomlin versus the two clowns that have coached this team since passing on him.

Roflmao people still defend or believe in Parcells! This is the biggest smoke and mirrors fraud in nfl history! I have been trying to educate people since the beginning few listened. Many sold their soul to the Parcells Cult! This guy has never built a true contender when he buys the groceries! Meatball and the Elf were the obvious choice! Rex Ryan arduous kidding me? Rex wanted to build around a QB! No way that follows the tried and failed plan of building through cornfed crap!

I'm not gonna lie, my favorite part of Mike Tomlin is his post game interviews when he has the dent in his fro from his mic, and I do agree Mike Time is a very good coach, but do you think if Mike Tomlin was put in the same situation as TS, that he would have succeeded?
