Dolphins vs. Chargers moved to 4:05

Bad news. West coast teams are awful at 1 pm east coast games

I wonder if that week is a CBS or Fox doubleheader and if it will be a national audience or not.

Big blow to us. 1pm game is a huge advantage vs west coast teams.

Once again, they're mad that we wouldn't give public money for stadium renovations.

BULL****! My God, do the NFL have it out for us or what? They took away our clear advantage over the Chargers. They would have been playing a 10AM game, and that would have made it very difficult for them. Now the game is a lot harder for us and I don't know if we win that one now.

Temps in Florida are not much different whether it's the early or late game. Maybe the time change but that's an excuse too.

It's actually a real, tangible, and significant impact. Teams from the Pacific time zone who travel east and play 1pm EST games just flat out play worse football.

If you want, I can link you to some research that was done on that topic.

At some point the sloppy nest of this team is going to have to end, and we are going to have to just beat a team down, no matter when, where or who we play. We have had the lead in all the games we've played with the exception of one. We need, to put it all together for the second half the season. Easier said than done..

Ok. I just checked and CBS has the double header this week. So the week of the Charger game CBS should have double header again. They only have two games late. Dolphins vs. Chargers (CBS) Giants, Packers (Fox) So unless they make changes on who gets double header, Dolphins should be national audience.

fox has the doubleheader i believe.

with the original schedule, and even now with the changes, there is only 1 cbs game in that slot. fox has minn at sea, gb at nyg, and sf at no, which was the national game.

keep in mind, if cbs had the doubleheader that weekend and the kc at den game was the national game, they would not have been able to flex it out most likely.

i think thats a tad bit overrated to be quite honest.

first of all, good teams whether from the east traveling west or vice versa win based on there level of play, not what time the game is.

also, san diego came east to philly after having played mnf in san diego week 1 and put up 34 pts in a win.

at the end of the day, the better team will win.

we are 0-2 in 1 pm games, and granted they r not vs west coast teams, 4 pm wont hurt us. the only reason, and its for selfish reasons is i rather the game be at 1 because i dont like eating during fin games, and i get very hungry late in the day, lol, and the end of the game will prob be during when i like to eat.

but that really is irrelevant, lol. also, we play mnf the week before, so i guess 3 extra hours of rest for us as well. not so bad.

The good thing is our game with SD is sandwiched against KC and DEN!!!!

I was looking at the 1pm and didn't notice the zone, but cbs does have the double header this week so you would think fox would have it next week and then back to cbs Charger week.

If a player plays worse at 10am as apposed to 1pm, he shouldn't be a player.

The real advantage here is that the Chargers have 6-7 hours of travel time before a game, not that they play at 10am instead of 1pm. The time change is completely overblown here. Its the travel time that matters.
