the way they competed against Denver without Charles I might add, I'd say we are most definitely not the favorite to win.

Knile Davis is pretty good as well.

I liked him coming out and was hoping the Phins would consider him...

I need to grab a bit to eat and regroup. Out of all the pics, I can't take my eyes off this one.

I need to make a road trip.

After watching Denver's 1st 2 games they are not at the moment remotely close to the same team as last year (can't run the ball when needed). The Chiefs are very beatable if we don't shoot ourselves in the foot.

It took a goal line stand by the Denver defense to beat the Chiefs in Denver. The Chiefs are a desperate team playing against a team that has come out unprepared in 4 straight games, has had questions on offense in those 4 games and is getting below average play at QB.

This will not be the abysmal performance we witnessed in Buffalo but I wouldn't mark this up as a definite win.

Chiefs were the healthiest team in the league last year. Now that has reversed in a big way. I generally don't pay too much attention to injuries. When they come in bunches in one unit obviously there's impact. We may be very fortunate in the timing of this game, unlike last week on the road against FAR.

I virtually never visit opposing boards. But I remembered I registered and posted on Chiefs Planet a few years ago, when they upset Green Bay very late in the year to ruin the Packer's unbeaten season. People forget how close that got. They were 13-0 if I remember correctly. Chiefs fans hated that Dolphin fans were pleased. It was obvious they still haven't gotten over the Christmas Day game in 1971.

Last night I went back to Chiefs Planet for the first time in 3 years. Very interesting and familiar. There was a thread calling Andy Reid an idiot, another one saying Dee Ford was a wasted pick, another one asserting that Alex Smith sucks and will always suck. Etcetera and etcetera. Not much different than here after a loss. I did see one guy saying he cried all night after that Christmas Day loss and his dad scolded him. I almost posted that it was the greatest Christmas ever, but I backed off.

It was intriguing to read their views of the Dolphins. Apparently we own them, so to speak. Lots of comments about that, and therefore some pessimism toward this week. The game thread basically said Tannehill is just another guy back there and the Chiefs are fortunate not to be facing an accurate passer. They expected drama this week from Brandon Albert. It's obvious he is not highly regarded in that fanbase, but it seemed personality based and not performance based.

Anyway, this is the type of Crowd vs. Crowd game in which I'll take +4 or higher with the road team, if available, with no other thought required. I'm trying to grind 570 among 1000 along investment lines, not nitpick 2014 Chiefs vs. 2014 Dolphins in week three. Current line is Dolphins -4.5.

The hubs and I always like to make a famous food from the opposing team's city when we tailgate, and though the obvious choice this week would be burnt ends, I don't have a smoker nor 10 hours to smoke meat. So I found a nifty little dessert recipe called Kansas City Dirt Cake, and I'm hoping we make dirt cake out of them! Looks good doesn't it!

There is really little difference between teams fans...sometime we think Miami is unique, but fans are fans....

Wow...looks awesome...though i gained a few pounds just looking at it :p

Never had KC BBQ, but if it is better than NC BBQ it must be something. :)

The only people who think NC BBQ stacks up against KC BBQ are people from NC. It really isn't even a contest. KC all the way!!!

BTW, if any of you are ever in town, Oklahoma Joe's is where you wanna go. Best damn BBQ on the planet. Just google it, you'll find endless articles backing that statement up. Is there anything more manly than BBQ served out of a gas station?

In August, Men's Health named the nine finalists in its manliest restaurant in America competition, now in its second year. Out of several categories, such as manliest taco stand (Hankook Taqueria) and manliest brew pub (Snake River Brewing), the magazine named the manliest bbq joint -- Oklahoma Joe's in Kansas City -- the manliest restaurant in America.
