Dolphins vs. Hurricanes

college w/ a doubt,the whole school attends pretty much every game,not to mention college stadiums are bigger than NFL stadiums.....thats a pretty one-sided question....

What?

The whole school doesn't attend the game. Half of them don't attend because it's too far of a drive from Coral Gables and the University doesn't offer enough buses to commute to and from the stadium for students. This has been a documented problem.

College stadiums are bigger? The Orange Bowl wasn't any bigger than Landshark Stadium and now the Dolphins and Hurricanes play in the same stadium. Hurricanes attendance has long been poor. It's pathetic.

The NFL is a much better product. Miami is a Dolphins town first. Always has been always will be. No doubt in my mind. The Hurricanes have 9,000+ undergrad students right now. It's a private school. We don't have the student body and we don't have the Alumni for the 'Canes to be more popular. While the 'Canes have a large sidewalk fan base, that number has diminished with the uprising of the Gators in recent years.

The Dolphins have been a staple in the NFL since the 70's. The following is large. We're easily a top 10 team in terms of fans. The Hurricanes aren't one of the top 10 fan bases in the country when you consider schools with large Alumni such as Ohio State, Michigan, Texas, Florida, and Notre Dame. Those schools are also much older than the Hurricanes who are only just over four scores.

It's the Dolphins, fellas.
 
In my opinion The Dolphins have a bigger fan base but in Miami more people wear more UM clothes. Problem is that Dolphins fan base goes from Keywest to like south of Orlando. and UmMfan base goes from miami to west palm beach at most. USF and UCF owns every thing north of West Palm.

I wonder sometimes if people have nothing better to do than think all day about another ridiculous question.

Of course the Dolphins have the bigger fan base and have more fans in attendance.

The hurricanes attendance is and has always been pathetic but mainly due to the fact that it is a private school with a much much smaller student body than the public schools like FSU, UF etc.

I am counting down the seconds to the next question in the top 100 of stupidity which would probably be if Alabama or Texas could beat the worst NFL team. :rolleyes2:

Yet another good point and I would argue up to Jacksonville and West of I-10. Keep in mind the Dolphins were the first Florida franchise and everyone in the great state of Florida jumped on with the Dolphins early. Jacksonville hasn't been around long and have pretty much been irrelevant and the Buccaneers sucked for the longest time.
 
Dolphins have a bigger fan base then Thug U. The Hurricanes fans are mostly Miami based, while Dolphin fans are nationally and even Internationally based. I live in Pennsylvania and I see other Dolphin fans from time to time, I never see Hurricane fans.
 
Do the Hurricanes have fans in the UK? that's right! haha it's definitely the Dolphins.. we are well known internationally.
 
Who has the sexier female fans?

Possibly the Canes. I see a lot of good looking girls at Dolphin games but the younger the better!!!
