68% of Tua’s yards came from YAC, he definitely lead the league in that category this week! 😂
Tua threw the ball a tostado of 109 yards in the air in that game on 23 completions but you want to compare his stats with Lawerence, when Tua is throwing the ball to skill players that are elite compared to what Lawerence has to work with!! 🤦‍♂️
Yeah that's because he's an accurate passer that puts the ball in a place where the WRs CAN run with it. if you're implying Tua has nothing to do with the YAC, you don't know ball.

I’m happy with the way that Tua played. I’ve been extremely critical of him in the past. However I think that he showed a good ability to remain calm and read the defense. Plus this was week 1 vs a tough team.

I think the person that needs to setup is coach McD. Some of those plays called sucked. He really needs to hire someone to call the plays.

I was also happy with how the defense played especially in the second half. They are just going to keep getting better.

Never understand these posts. You want to penalize Tua because he has some skill players. He still has to execute the offense.
Some skill players? That is laughable. Tua has 4 guys that run sub 4.4s. He has the BEST Wr in the game along, with another that’s top 15 to 20. You do realize there are 32 teams in the NFL. He also has Achane!

Not penalizing Tua, just not putting him on a pedestal, like you!

Peyton Manning had Thomas, Decker, Welker with the Broncos, Marvin Harrison and Wayne with the Colts. Brady's best year was with Randy Moss and Wes Welker. Seeing as your from Eerie PA, I assume you're aware Jalen Hurts has Smith and Brown (and still looks MUCH worse as a passer compared to Tua).

Are you dinging these guys for the talent around them too, or only Tua?

And indictment on his ability? You jest, surely. They appeared to play a very conservative game yesterday. Lots of players were winded or fading by the 3rd quarter. These two teams were fairly stout and appeared to match up well. Their coach wanted it to remain more conservative, and ours didn't. That became the difference when in the second half we let it rip and connected deep a couple of times.

Lawrence may not be a top 5 QB in the league, but that's not something I would attempt to call just yet. When I look at how finely Matthew Stafford has matured, I guffaw at the people on this board who, in several years past, had negative things to say about that dude. I always knew he was a QB to be coveted. He looks superb at 35 now. That could be Lawrence in 10 years, although I'm not saying it will be.
Stafford has finally dedicated himself in the gym and it shows, he’s a great Qb better than ever and will be for the next four or five years

🤦‍♂️

You see him throw into ANY tight windows yesterday? He threw the ball 109 yards in the air yesterday on 23 completions. The 2 completions I watched that were over 20 yards, the TD to Hill and the other longer pass to Waddle, they were both wide open! He did NOT make any great throws yesterday into tight windows down the field!

I see no accurate passes into tight windows!

Then you didn't watch Hill's 80 yard TD. That was absolutely in a tight window. He put that ball in the only spot possible that would allow Tyreek to out-run 2 defenders. Tight windows aren't always throwing between a defenders hands (which btw I've seen him do multiple times in his career)

Goddam, you really have no idea what you are talking about. He was 8th in AGG% this week. You probably don't know what that is though. Perhaps your eyesight is failing. First drive:

Holland’s punch out really was the turning point and I remember tweeting it at the time.

We showed good resilience to come back after looking like we were on the ropes.
Unequivocally it was. Game was over. Etienne was walking into the endzone to go up 24-7. This is the type of play we've been waiting for from Holland. And the offense backed up on the next play. Very gratifying.

I’m not watching those other guys. Just because I’m from Pa doesn’t mean I follow the Eagles. They are on the other side of the my State. 😂

I was responding to someone who compared Tua and Lawerence where he said most people think Lawerence is the better Qb and then threw yesterday’s stats up. I simply stated Tua had 68% of his yards come from YAK ( He led the league in that category yesterday BTW 😂). Tua also plays with better weapons than Lawerence. Those are both facts!! Who’s to say how Lawerence would do in this offense or Tua in the Jaguars offense. That is the only way to compare the 2 but it can’t be done, obviously.
