Lets not forget the Jets by their own self proclaimed greatness suck so far this year. History tells us this is a good fixture for us and we'll have a good chance to win. I really don't know what to hope for tis season is a killer for that reason. I want us to wipe that smirk of that fat ******* on their sideline and I don't want the team to go 0-16 this year but that's the only chance I see for us to fix the long term future of the franchise by drafting Andrew Luck.

Nothing i'd like more than to destroy the sorry *** Jets on Monday night on national TV.
That and to beat them at home in the last game and kill any playoff hopes they may have.

Sadly I agree.

It's better to fall in love with Barkley/Jones/RG3 than be devastated when this damn team wins 3 or 4 meaningless games.

I'm convinced were cursed as Dolphin fans.
 
When we draft Luck we can trade Henne to the Jets.

He would be a BIG upgrade over what they have now.
 
I would much rather lose this one and then win later in the season to play spoiler to them getting int he playoffs in addition to being our only win of the season. we get luck AND spoil the jets playoff hopes... sounds good to me.

If we win this one early in the season and they miss the playoffs this game won't be looked at as the reason... plus the jets will be coming off a 3 game losing streak... even if we were playing our best ball I doubt we would beat them in that situation.
 
THis season does not exist.. its not taking place and it never happened in my mind, we went from the 10-11 season right to the 12-13 season.. So I voted for "whatever"...
 
I guess I'm vindictive. If we go down let's at least make sure the Jets go down with us.

A hollow victory for sure but a victory no less. I'll take my chances on getting Luck next year.

If our new coach and GM really want him they'll be able to trade up if we're in the top three or four lousy teams.
 
who in the world would be in the top that would trade out for luck? the only teams satisfied enough that would be in the top pick would be carolina or the rams.

If the offer is right i'm sure they would at least consider it. Someone may pull a Ditka and trade thier whole draft for him. Most teams in our situation need a lot more than just a QB.
 
I said 'whatever'.

Its not that I dont want to win, its just that if we lose I am not going to take a bottle of sleeping pills and die over it. Although the Monday night miracle stings, I still laugh at the fake spike so no biggie.

I highly dislike the jests but I have a hatred for the Bills more than any other rival. THOSE are the games I want to win above all else.

Never underestimate the power of a team that just collapses under a coaching staff that is on the way out.
