He was awful at Virginia Tech and I was shocked he got drafted when he did by the Cardinals.

I assume he still sucks, so no loss here.
 
The Dolphins cut Logan Thomas Thursday, and his final practice with the team was a snapshot why.

Coaches asked Dolphins quarterback to throw end-zone fades into a trashcan. Thomas wasn’t close to even hitting it.

So they moved on from a failed experiment, writing off the $125,000 bonus they paid him to stick around last December.

Thomas, then on their practice squad, was going to be poached by another team, so Miami had to sweeten the pot to keep him.

I loved his upside and had hope he could develop with time, but I knew he wasn't going to be a fit for Gase.

Daughty will get his roster spot IMO, I don't think Moore will make it.
 
Thomas always seemed like a better fit for Lazor's heavily simplified offense than what Gase is likely to instill.

Thomas must have thought the trash can was a receiver. Honest mistake.
 
after all the praise i was hearing about doughty and zac dysert i had a feeling this was coming.
 
As a Virginia tech student: Logan Thomas ****ing sucks
 
I like the move. They determined he didn't have an NFL arm and moved on.
