Why on God's Green Earth would we want a washed-up, 38 year-old concussion prone QB back?? That is just STUPID!!! I can't believe Parcells doesn't have more brains then that!!
 
No surprise there. It's been my own belief all along that Green, if cleared to play would be in TC to compete.
 
Its not like theres a better option at backup QB. Draft a new third stringer, but who in FA is a better fit as a mentor for John? McCown? No thanks. Grossman? Nope.

I still have my doubts about this one, but I still think it makes a bit of sense. But Im still not totally buying it.

maybe its to get our DB's to get hte motivation to hit harder adn see who can deliver the next concussion?
loll j/k but i think its so Beck doesnt feel to comfy out there thinking the job is all his.
 
Also probably a way for Green's camp to show other teams he still has some value, trying to grab maybe one more year as a backup somewhere.
 
As the #2 QB, to help mentor Beck, and at a reduced salary? I'd roll the dice on Green. I think he'd be okay having to play a couple games, but probably can't stay healthy over a full season of starting.

If they keep Green around at #2, and don't draft another QB in the first 3 rounds? I think that signals a strong interest in developing Beck as the Dolphins QB.
 
Please, not as a starter. I'm seriously worried about this guys concussions. I don't know if I can stomach watching him being wheeled out on a stretcher again.
 
if its true its sounds like an endorsement for john beck
