Dolphins Want To Bring In Carmichael

This regime has tried twice to get this guy, once as QB Coach I believe and last year as the OC. They were spurned twice by him already so maybe this time they will get their man? One can only hope!!!

Knowing our luck, he'd much rather go to Oakland, who has picks in the freaking 5th and 6th round.

YESSS......I'd be happy with Zim,Philby,or Carmichael. I just hope we move quickly,to snag one of these Guys......Or Chudz

I need to see more from Carmichael before I get as pumped up as some others around here.

He is a worthy interview.
To bad they don't video tape and publish the interviews so us fans can watch the process.
I would really like to hear what they say and how they come across.

what do you need to see?

i would say it spoke VOLUMES that peyton let him continue with the play calling duties AFTER he came back.

he COORDINATES this whole powerhouse show. he is the guy who designs it, teaches it and helps develope the ones who are assigned to make the plays.

drew brees was NOT the drew brees we know now before coming to the saints. he was good in san diego, took him 2 years to get respectable but wasnt elite at all. and he was deemed expendable and let go.

drew himself has said over and over how much carmichael has meant to his growth into the player he is now.

his wrs are not household names, but they ALL have shined under petes direction. when you have people who can step in and produce, thats a great system. it may be an offense that sean peyton likes to run but its the coordinator that gets it all to happen.

so again, what do you need to see HAYDEN? what are you NOT seeing?

he does not call the plays for the saints, he benefits from having one of the greatest QB's of all time in a wide open spread offense, has cam cameron written all over him, can he lead men?, is he disciplined? no thanks to carmichael, give me mike zimmer please, lets not make the same mistake we did with cam cameron.

Great post NRA, some (specifically HAYDEN) keep raving about McCoy and the fact he made adjustments that allowed Denver to win some games with what I agree might be the worse passer in the NFL in years. And that is a good accomplishment but it tells me nothing of what he can do should we finally get ourselves a franchise QB or if he can run a progressive offense. I'm hoping we aren't hiring a coach because we think he can find a way to get 9 or 10 wins out of Matt Moore and make our offense adequate and maybe we can contend for a wildcard. Charmichael has shown that given the tools (Ireland and the scouts jobs) that he can create a top tier offense, not one that is barely acceptable.

He has been calling the plays since Payton was injured.
