Jamil Douglas is the starting RG. Koa Misi is the starting SLB with Kelvin Sheppard at MLB & Jelani Jenkins at WLB #Dolphins

Andrew Abramson ‏@AbramsonPBP
No surprise at WR: Kenny Stills and Greg Jennings on outside, Jarvis Landry in the slot. DeVante Parker reserve along w/Matthews & Hazel

LaMIke James is listed as #Dolphins kick and punt returner

Wow, Matthews is still a reserve.

They were trying to trade him. He wasn't actually going to be a starter...as well as he's done.

The guy is going to do some damage in 4-5 WR sets though...he's an automatic win.

Not too many shockers... maybe McCain over Taylor, but I suspect they will each get plenty of snaps..

Chris McCain will still get some snaps, we will get dinked and dunked to death with Misi/Sheperd out there.

Douglas the starting RG... wow, well, hey best man up I guess

Kelvin Sheppard at MLB...Can we please bring in Mason Foster for a visit

Mason Foster isnt going to change much for us.

We will see a decent rotation at LB this year I bet, until things become solidified!!! but it is GREAT to see Misi back at SLB, if it lasts long we will see.

McCain over Taylor has to just be due to Taylor's injuries... i bet he will be outside and McCain in the slot in time.

I am kind of shocked Matthews is still reserve behind Stills because of the camp he has had and the injury to Stills... but I guess Stills proved himself with his time. I hope Matthews is stil lready to dominate when his name is called.

still curious on keeping 6 WRs, especially with James being the return guy at this time. prob will change with a healthy Ajayi, but I really dont want Landry being the return guy much.

.

The media nor the fans get to watch practice so we really don't know what is going on. Stills obviously proved himself.

Why do people here think Mason Foster....a guy who was not wanted by the BUCCANEARS!, and then did not make the BEARS roster!!.....is going to be considerably better than a guy who's been here the entire offseason and played through the preseason in our system?

Cause they really don't understand how this whole thing works.

A bit more info on CB situation:

The Miami Herald reports Brice McCain has beat out Jamar Taylor for the starting cornerback job opposite Brent Grimes.
Taylor was thought to have a leg up, but must have missed too much time with his quad injury. Taylor is practicing ahead of Week 1. Despite the "starting" tag, McCain should kick inside when the Dolphins go with three corners, leaving Taylor on the outside. McCain is more effective in the slot. Taylor could easily end up overtaking him for No. 2 duties.

Not sure what Matthews has to do to get some respect. He has been the guy to work with Tannehill in the off season. Always performs well. Head scratcher to me.

Well, for one he's now on the roster and apart of the functional rotation. Jennings, Stills, and Landry are proven on Sundays. Matthews still has a little more to go in that respect.

Mathews should get plenty of snaps at both outside WR spot. That's all he can ask for.

When Parker's back full time that might not be the case.

He'll get plenty of action. Jennings won't be in on every snap, neither will Kenny Stills. You'll have snaps where the 2 wide receivers are Landry and Matthews.

If Matthews keeps playing like he's playing, he has nothing to worry about.

Philbin does not commit to an individual returner for punts or kickoffs, says returner could change based on game situation.
