Call it blind optimism, but I also can see us beating the Steelers.

Last game was a disgrace and a horrible piece of crap of an insult of a game. Our weakness at OL became exposed which shut down our rushing game, hurried the new QB into making mistakes, and caused lots of negative yardage plays such as holding, sacks and negative yard rushes. Can it get much worse? Yes. Will it? I don't think so. With almost the entire offensive line being new or 2nd year, what else should have we expected? Granted Wade Smith should be canned.

Our Defense will only get BETTER! We had so many out on injuries it's a miracle we didn't allow one TD by the offense. Also, expect the OL to work feverishly on improving for the Pittsburgh game and with the addition of Damion McIntosh, we can speculate that the OL will ge better as well.

We have such inexperience in our team in so many vital areas, please have paitence and watch our team improve. GO PHINS!!

I am getting so sick of all this pessimistic talk. Yes we are 0-2 and yes we do have several issues, but I do not feel we are as bad as our record shows. As long as our defense holds up we will always have a chance to win. We have the talent on offense, except the o-line, but atleast we are getting mcintosh back who has to be an upgrade over smith, a guy who dodges d lineman like bullfighters dodge bulls. Our offense just needs to get in sync with each other a little more, which basically comes down to having the line block, Gordon get use to the plays and stop hesitating whenever he reaches the whole, and for Feeley to get in sync with Chambers and Booker. he is already in sync with with Mcmichael. We so far have lost to two pretty good teams. The bengals are on the rise in this league and the Titans are always a playoff team. Niehter game was a blowout, so atleast we are playing competitive football. What our team needs is for us fans to have a bit of patience and faith and not for us to start jumping ship and saying we suck. With talk like this I am almost ashamed to call myself a Dolphins fan, on second thought i am proud to be one, but i am ashamed that some of you are.

I think Miami wins. Roethislinberger is making his 1st start, As long as Feeley doesn't throw any int's for tds. Watch for Plaxico Burress though, this guy is ridiculous, he just tackles the cornerback and stands there, Everytime I see him play he does that and a ref never calls offensive pass interference. I think the offensive line will play better especially if Mcintosh plays, he couldn't do any worse than Wade has been doing. Hopefully Konrad will play. The best way to beat a blitz is to run screens and draws. After watching Minnesota last nite, I think the quick pass to the wr can be effective for this team especially if teams are blitzing the hell out of us, and anything to get the ball into Chris Chamber's hands would help this offense, a tight end screen would be nice also. With the way this offense is struggling they need to get the ball into CC's and McMike's hands as much as possible. Marty Booker catching 1 ball for 5 yds can't happen again. The offense needs to score a 1st half td.

You guys should beat the Steelers. Ben is making his first start against one of, if not the best defense in the NFL. He will make a lot of mistakes. So for the Steelers to even get any points will be difficult. Ward,Plaxico and Randle El are a very good WR trio but Ben will underthrow,overthrow and throw behind those guys,along with misreads defensively. Duce Staley is a hard nosed back but i don't expect him to have much running room.So the key will be if the Steelers can stop Feeley and company. Lebeau likes to blitz and will however i think McMichael,Chambers and Booker will do enough against our young secondary to get some scoring drives. You won't be running much and i don't expect that to be successful. Spreading the Steelers out would be the best option for the Fins. With the heat and home crowd,i look for a tough hard fought defensive battle with Miami winning 13 to 3 and hopefully its that close.

Yeah, right....THe rookie QB that will falter under extreme heat will be AJ. With our line, I wouldn't even doubt that Arizona can beat us!

As long as Surtain, MAdison, and Howard can play against Burress, Ward, and Randel El, i think we should be fine. WE need them healthy. B/c if it's Wyrick, nd Poole against them three, it will be over. Also if Wade Smith is on the bench, if you get to watch the Cincy game again, you see Smith watch 3 defenders go right by him untouched, it was horrible.

It's all on the Oline. AJ can throw, the skill guys including Gordon are very talented and able....but without a line we are inept. If Tosh plays maybe we have a chance. Can you imagine Wade Smith trying to stop Porter on the perimeter? I dont even want to think about that.
