Dolphins will beat the Rams

I told you guys I would be back after my prediction that the Dolphins would win. But I'm not here to say "I told you so" I'm here to celebrate with the rest of you guys. They still have some serious issues (too many sacks allowed, etc.) but I'm still gonna enjoy this one.
too bad none of them are real dolphins fans to celebrate with, looks like just a few of us real fans on the forum.

p.s. way to prove everyone wrong, its us against the so called fins fans, and i love it.

Oh give me a break. Every week there is a "Dolphins will beat...." thread and every week we have lost. In my opinion, if you say it every week, it is bound to happen sooner or later (since I think that going 0-16 is actually unlikely as going undefeated). So, there is no revelation going on here, it was just a matter of time before we picked up a win. Congrats, you are 1-6 on your predictions.

By the way, it isn't you two against "so called" Fins fans. It's you two thumping your chests among a bunch of realistic, cynical Phin fans. Some of us have been fans long enough to have a reason to be this cynical.....it doesn't mean that we aren't still fans.

why do people have to be such jerks
we won a game... get excited....
finally we can hold our heads up for a week
it may just be 1-6 but its better than 0-7

I bet all of you guys that were calling TampaFinFan an idiot for calling the game feel like Jackasses, now that the dolphins blew them out!!!

I haven't predicted any other wins this season. And they may not win another one. I just felt like, for the reasons I gave, that Miami would win this game. So I am 1-0 on my predictions.

As for longtime fan, I've probably been a fan longer than you've been alive. I have been incredibly spoiled by their success over the last 30 plus years since I've been a fan. So I know all about being cynical and having little or no tolerance for the crap Wannstedt and Speilman have put together. And in the middle of this I find myself, as I'm sure many of you do, in a difficult position. It just goes completely against my grain to not want them to win. But I know if they were to somehow manage to pull out a few more victories that the two-headed Dave/Rick monster might get a reprieve. So I guess my hope is that they lose just enough to get the much needed cleansing that's required.

Either way, we're all fans here. Some longtime and some new fans and we all want the same thing. A Dolphins team we can enjoy watching and be proud of.

So lighten up.

Facing a pissed off Jets team at home on a Monday night doesn't bode well for the Dolphins. And Feidler has never played well against the Jets. The Dolphins offensive line still has issues and I think will be exposed by the Jets defense. I think a close game that the Jets pull out in the end.

I'm enjoying this win. I actually watched sports center and the highlights of the game...I watched the game live on NFL Sunday Ticket...but when the Fins lose (as we know they lost a lot this season already) I tend not to turn it on ESPN during PrimeTime...I don't watch sports center either. Yesterday was the first time this season that I was able to enjoy football more. I was nice and relaxed after our game. Happy that we one...and enjoyed watching other NFL games. The reason why I was happy was because now I know that we will not be 0-16. You know I was worried about that...I really felt that we would get at least 1 win and we did...but it was still in the back of my mind that...hey this team could possibly go defeated all season 0-16 would be crushing not that 1-15 is good but it's better than 0-16...sad to say.

So I will enjoy this win and enjoy tonight's Monday night game...NFL football is much more enjoyable when your team wins...no doubt about it. I even slept better last night because of the win...I hate seeing my Fins lose...I hate it.

Go Fins!!!

Why are the Jets pissed off? Their 5-1, still in the playoff hunt and barely lost to the elite team of the NFL...
Shouldn't the Phins be pissed off? Their 1-6 and out of the playoffs...
If any team should be pissed its the Dolphins...
Now after Miami beats the Jets, the Jets should be really pissed

I'm not gonna be that hurt either way. And I don't think they are going to win every week. I think 4 wins this year would be a major acomplishment. I wrote off this season back in January when Wannstedt was retained. I know on paper they can't beat the Rams but the game isn't played on paper.

O.K. Nostradamis, What's up for the year ahead?????????????????
Please enlighten us oh plump one

Gloating is not a good thing. Its demonstrates insecurity.

BTW we have that game on the Classic game series right now.
