Dolphins will only go after Manning if he is 100%

According to the Miami Herald, the Dolphins will only pursue Peyton Manning (neck surgeries) if he's "verified as 100 percent healthy."

That verification on Manning's neck isn't going to come before the start of free agency at 4:00 p.m. ET on March 13. The upshot is that Matt Flynn will likely become a more realistic target for Miami while Manning may end up going to a team that can afford to wait until later in the offseason -- or perhaps even this summer -- for a QB upgrade.

You can cross Manning off the list now... Unless Timmy Tebow urinates Holy Water on Manning's neck between now and then, there is no way he will be verified to be 100& healthy in March.

I heard that his recovery was progressing well and that Payton hasd been working out as though he intends too play next season. It reminds me of the Drew Brees choice we made after a team of doctors insisted his injuries would keep him from playing 100%. The date I have heard for Paytons playing condition decision would not be until June or so.

If we're off the table, I'd guess he's gonna end up with AZ, since between Kolb and Skelton they don't have to rush anything and can sit patiently by. Throwing to Larry Fitz would be appealing to Peyton I'd think.

Manning would be a very risky gamble, I can't see the organization going that route.

Tough decison?????? Its freakin Peyton Manning , or 2 second rate QBs, going at it. Manning is worth every risk..
