The McKinnie pick moves to the 7th round of 2015. That means Miami currently has one pick in every round this upcoming May(7 total). In the end we will still likely end up with a 7th round pick in 2015 as we are expected to get a 7th from San Francisco for Martin. So it will even out.

Ravens get a seventh-round pick in 2015 from Dolphins in exchange for Bryant McKinnie. Team previously said it was 2014 selection

Why the confusion?

That's is good. Martin for McKinnie basically. I would do that trade all day.

This draft is pretty deep. Having another choice is huge.

That's one way to look at it. But that's forgetting we wasted a high second round pick on Martin in the first place.
I guess thinking of trading one bad tackle for another seems a better thought though

This is great news! Now we can use our 7th round pick in the 2014 Draft for our starting RT!

In a make or break year for Tannehill, I fully expect them to use the first round pick on a RT to help sure up the book ends and give Tanny some time to throw. We'll see how it pans out though.

Normally I wouldn't care about a seventh round pick, but this team started guys off the practice squad last year. We need all the bodies we can get for the O-line next year.
