Only bad part of winning the coin flip is that Miami will now pick 42nd overall in the second round, behind the Panthers and Bills. If they would have lost the coin flip, they would have picked 40th overall in the second round, ahead of the Panthers and Bills. Still though, you can't be upset they won the higher draft slot in the first round. Also, we don't have to deal with the Ted Ginn memories that come with the 9th overall pick.

The difference of value on the draft value chart between the 8th and 9th pick is that of a 5th round pick.

This gives us more option too as far as trading up to 2, getting a pick at 8, or trading out because there are some DE's that will be there that a lot of teams will pay hefty for!
