I'm 50 years old, and have been a Dolphin fan along with my dad since the early 70's. I rarely post here because my opinions are usually of no consequence to anyone, but I truly believe we will not do any better on the field until we fix the problem at the top position. Unfortunately, the Patriots have been the model of success for the past decade. A lot of people on here wish for a head coach like Belichick or a quarterback like Brady. While all of this may be true, we will never be a competivetive team until we have an owner like Bob Kraft. Prior to his purchase of the Patriots in 1994 they were never the winner that they are now. I just hope I can see that here again before I am too old to see the TV. I'll go back in my hole now and be quiet.

Feel your pain, my friend. Hang n there, the season is almost over.

You should post more. As much as we can't stand Kraft he's definitely vested in his team.

Jimmy Johnson started out bad ... and Gase has suffered through bad early season woes wherever he's been and each time turned that offense into a strong offensive force. Let's give it some time brother.

Just stop with these ridiculous comparisons.

First off and of utter importance is that Johnson and Walsh coached in a time before the modern era of free agency as we know it. HC's now should not be granted the same graces of failure. Johnson also had great success as a college head coach and Walsh was an innovator of the game. Belichick also runs the ballclub from the GM position down with more success than any other HC in modern history.

So before dishonoring any of these names, it's best to realize that Gase resembles Cam Cameron more than he does any of the greatest coaches to ever grace the game.

Jinx! I am also 50 years young(?). Yes, as old as the Dolphins themselves like you. (Much hurt and pain through the years with this team.) I still believe though. I will ALWAYS believe. Remember that we started with a bang with our very first play in '66- a kick return for a touchdown! Always believe my brother; never let the low lights get you down...

The team will not be good until Stephen Ross sells the team, but that won't happen so we are just playing a waiting game.
